I have been receiving services from Perfect Smiles for several years. Just over 2 years ago, I needed to get 2 teeth crowned. One crown failed in less than 2 years resulting in emergency surgery to extract the tooth. When I was getting the first tooth addressed, it was noted that the second crown was improperly placed and would result in losing that tooth as well if something wasn't done about it. When I went back to Perfect Smiles to address this, Dr. Moon said that I would need a new crown and that they would stand behind their work. However, I was later told that Dr. Bridenstine would not allow this and suggested covering the gaps between the crown and the gum with filling material. I went for a second opinion and was told that this was not even a good short-term fix, much less a long-term solution. I lost my tooth 6 months ago and had this discussion with them 4 months ago and Perfect Smiles has done nothing to address the problems that they have created. It's a fine place to go for a regular cleaning (since that can't get messed up) but I would get crowns done somewhere else. It's significant that the two crowns they placed in April 2013 both failed - those are terrible odds!
