Long story if you're curious:
I have pretty high anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, and my previous dentist had established this extensive plan of care that included root canals and crowns. Ended up switching to Olathe Family Dentistry, weeping through my first appointment while explaining everything my previous dentist said I needed. They helped me feel comfortable and calm, took xrays, and I got a thorough cleaning that didn't make me wince once! We reviewed my xrays and I was floored/ecstatic when they didn't recommend all of these incredibly expensive procedures that my previous dentist had insisted that I needed as soon as possible. It would have been so easy for them to jump on board with my previous plan, but instead, I got honest and thoughtful care.

I have been going to Dr. Alexander for several years. I've had cleanings done regularly and crowns put on. I just finished restoration of two teeth due to an accident.' I am a 'chicken' when it comes to pain. I explained that and they listened. They make sure I am always comfortable.
I highly recommend this dental practice. They are honest and trustworthy; always willing to explain whatever they are going to do until you fully understand the process. Their staff is outstanding! Friendly, courteous and willing to go the extra mile.

Where to start, the ladies at the front desk are absolutely amazing!
Beth or Bethany would answer my calls was not the greatest. They rescheduled me to a much sooner date which fell on a family occasion. As much as I was looking forward to fixing this tooth as an emergency visit. I was forced to postpone.
I called today to inform them I am traveling from a longer distance and would be arriving momentarily.
I was responded to " you canceled 2x and can't be resechuled.
1st time they rescheduled me which I was great full for but unfortunately I couldn't miss the time or day that week.
I was pushed to 06-23 which I have full intention just the drive took longer than expected.
They were most interested in telling me what they wanted to start on. Instead of asking what was giving me the most pain at the time.
The doctor who seems to not own any attire other than his last vacation Hawaiian shirts. Surprisingly asked where my discomfort was. I explained and followed up if we could avoid using the price on the spots.
Not even 4 sec later. He disregarded my words and did it anyways.
Again the ladies up from are rock stars.
I unfortunately would recommend a dentist who cares more about the patients then the pockets.

Thanks for my new smile. I have been going to this practice for many years. I am a big chicken, but both Dentists are very patient. I have had extensive dental work done here and am very happy. The staff and doctors have showm me many kindnesses that were not a "normal practice". Highly recommend them.

I have to admit I am an employee here, but I also have to admit that it is the most comfortable place I have ever worked, and I hope to spend many years at this practice! I have been in dentistry for 10 years now and I have seen 1st hand the doctors that don't care, these are not those Dr.'s!! I have had a crown placed here with no problems. My cleanings are top notch! The staff is fun, energetic, and knowledgeable! Love this place, not only as an employee but as a patient!

Do not go. He put cavities in my teeth by damaging my enamel, then charged me to fill them in. I had to go back three times to get one to stop hurting. My new dentist repaired it beautifully. I wish I never went there. I have to go back five more times to fix his shoddy work. I never had the same hygenist twice. Now I know why there was a high turnover rate.
