I have been a patient of this practice for 8 years now. I called earlier this week to see the doctor because I was in a lot of pain and assumed I have a cavity that I need looked at. They told me they could see me 2 days later - and while I was disappointed because I knew I would have to live with the pain 2 more days, I understood because I assumed he was busy. The night before my scheduled appointment, I received a voice message from his office stating that there had been a "scheduling conflict" and they would need to bump my appointment - into the next week! I called the office back the following morning and expressed that I was disappointed and that maybe I needed to look for a new dentist and the recepetionist literally told me "Ok, bye!". I was in shock - if you can't count on your dentist to be there for you when you really need them, then you don't need them. I would not recommend this practice to new clients as they obviously don't even care about retaining the patients already they have.

I had some work done about 5 years ago at this office and never wanted to return. I don't know the name of the dentist that worked on me but it wasn't Dr. Sjogren. I had a lot to get done and he seemed quite judgemental and did not wish to start where I wanted to start in my treatment. After a while, he finally agreed but he took a very long time. He would do some work for a few minutes then leave the room for 5 minutes or more. This happened over and over. I was ok with the finished work for the most part. I noticed today that the fillings he put in are breaking down and I will need to have them redone soon. Now, I am not a dentist, but I had the same work done on the other side 13 years ago and that side still looks fine. I would think fillings should last much more than 5 years, especially since the other side, same work- done 8 years before, is in like-new condition.
Maybe Dr. Sjogren does better work, but I wouldn't know. The man that worked on me made me want to never go back, due to his attitude toward me, like he wanted to do anything else but help me have a great smile.
