I hadn't been to the dentist in several years. Went here for a routine check up because it was close to the house and it turned out to be one of the better experiences in a dental chair. I hate going to the dentist. Not because of fear or pain but the small talk. I just want to get my work done and go about my day. There is nothing more frustrating than a hygienist pulling their hands out of your mouth so you can answer a question about your job, pets, kids, the weather... the hygienist was able to read the room.

As someone that experiences a high level of dental anxiety, you can imagine the added stress of having my longtime dentist retire shortly before my needing dental work performed. Boy, were my fears and worries ever misplaced!!! Dr. Shreya Patel at Beckman Dentistry is the absolute best!!! She addressed my concerns, talked me though the entire procedure, made certain I was relaxed and comfortable, and took the time necessary to perform the work required. Afterwards, she explained what she had done, and the follow-up care I was to receive. At no time during the procedure did I experience any fear or anxiety. In fact, I was rather embarrassed I had expressed any fears beforehand. If you are seeking a competent, caring and compassionate dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Shreya Patel at Beckman Dentistry.
