Best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. The dental assistant was efficient and gentle, and very informative when I had questions - and I had a lot of questions! They have very advanced technology, so I was curious to learn what everything was and how it all worked. I am enjoying my sparkling new mouth and looking forward to my next visit.

My hygienist Halie was the best experience I’ve ever had at a dental office. I would recommend this office over any other in the Kansas City area and the nation. From front desk staff to dental staff everything is excellent.
Had a great experience with billing as well allowing for payments.
My daughter had extensive work done over a two month period before aging out of her father's insurance and they got it all done in a way we could afford with co-pays.
My daughter's mouth and teeth felt better after the first visit as well!
She is so happy to be able to eat anything she wants again.
The entire staff is friendly, helpful, and the place is very COVID clean.

Though I was early for my appointment and checked in online, 3 people that arrived after were taken back before me. My hygienist was the roughest I’ve experienced using water to clean build up and only applied fluoride to the front of my teeth. I declined X-rays because having them divided front and back means if you can change dentists you can’t get full mouth X-rays at your next visit. They have a new instrument to take 3-d pictures of teeth. Though it is offered at no costs it takes 10 minutes and was big and clunky for my small mouth and served no purpose. Not sure this is the place for me.

This was my first appointment with a new dentist after seeing my childhood dentist for years. My hygienist was so sweet and was gentle around my teeth that are sensitive. Dr. Swan was very kind and quick. I am so thankful I chose to go here!

In general, I would say that I don't particularly enjoy visits to the dental office
but I must say the experience I had at Monticello Family Dental has completely changed my perspective. The oral care provided at the hands of the hygienist Halie was truly first class. She was thorough, informative and provided a personal touch that was truly charming. I look forward to making my return visit in the near future!

I am renewing my 5 star review in light recent experiences with Monticello family dental. I have continued to seek the services of Dr. Swan, and have only appreciated in respect for her and the staff. I have a certain structural complication in my teeth that made post-procedure very painful for me, and Dr. Swan could not have responded with more patience, understanding or steadfastness. She pursued me relentlessly to see how she could help me and I am quite impressed with her level of professionalism and dedication to my comfort. Most importantly, she found a solution! I am more than pleased with the work I have received here. I will certainly be going back to Monticello family dental, and thank you all for your kindness and care with such a vulnerable aspect of our bodies- for those of us who are not educated in dentistry, it can be truly terrifying.

I was nervous about switching dentists because I loved my old dentist, but I felt right at home here. Lacey took me in as though I was family in her home just catching up, and was so incredibly gentle and enjoyable. Dr. Swan was so personable and kind, and just laid the facts out flat, which I always really appreciate. I hesitate to recommend them because I know the word will get out about how great this place is... but I might as well because they deserve it.
