I had a wonderful experience at Hillside Family Dentist. I love the calm environment. I usually get anxiety about getting dental work done, but Terri is a fabulous hygienist and calmed all of my nerves. She played very relaxing scenery on the TV and that kept my attention while she worked on my teeth. Dr. Doan was very knowledgeable and answered a few questions I had about my jaw. Everyone there is very friendly and it is evident that they care about their patients!

The one star is being very generous. This office is extremely unprofessional. Dr. Doan couldn’t even do the very basic task of getting me numb properly. Also, his chair-side manner is horrible. He’s very arrogant and doesn’t explain anything he’s doing to you as he goes and isn’t apologetic when he hurts you. They left me sitting for hours trying to figure out how to numb me so they say but really they were short staffed and overbooked. While working on one filling they figured out they didn’t have the correct tool to complete the next filling and had to reschedule me, again. After deciding to leave this office I filled out a HIPPA release form for my new dental office and they never sent over records. My new office had to contact them personally to get the records sent over. I also prepaid for my services and requested a refund for the services not performed. This process started back in August of 2021, it is now December and they just processed a partial refund and shorted me about $20. All in all I don’t know how this business is still doing business. STAY AWAY, the positive 4 star reviews may be fakes. Check their Yelp reviews before moving forward, they’re more honest and reflect the true identity of Hillside Family Dental.

My family really likes this office. We travel almost 2hrs to be seen here. The staff is so friendly and accommodating to my family of 7. Karley is a hygienist who cares about her patients and does a great job and I have to say that the office manager Lonnie is awesome! I would recommend this office for your dental needs.

Everyone here is incredibly pleasant.. and the dr really seemed great.. but what i was told would be an $80 bill which i pre-paid has now turned into $400 because they didnt bother to call my insurance company and check.. the work didnt even need done right then.. it makes me angry because they are all so nice I wanted to love it 😞

Dr. Doan and his team did an amazing job! Through the long process of getting implants Dr. Doan told me everything that was going to happen throughout everything. Although it was long and somewhat uncomfortable at times, his team always knew how to make it better! I totally recommend going here if you need dental work!!

This was my second visit. First time I had 5 fillings. After a couple hours I couldn't even tell him I was at the dentist. I had no soreness and the visit was great. Went back today and was so amazed at how comfortable I was and how quickly he did my work. I didn't look at my teeth while I was there. When I got home I was shocked how good they looked!!!! Thank you so much!!! I am one thrilled patient!!
