I’ve been going to Modern dentistry for the last 3 years. Everyone is always nice and greets you with a genuine smile. They’re honest about the type of work you need done and they help you figure out how to plan it out based on what you can afford and your insurance plan. I’ve been working hard on making my smile the best it can be and everyone at modern dentistry is helping me do so too and I’m so happy to be a client if theirs.

I loved Dr. Babineaux and her staff! They were all very personable from the moment I checked in to when I left. It was my first visit (February) and I needed some extensive work, so I spent several hours there. It was a pleasure chatting with each staff member I dealt with. They each explained what they were doing every step of the way. They all took the time to detail what they needed to do and why. When it came to the cost, this was also explained in detail before they did anything, and it was actually a lot less than what a previous dentist quoted. Today was my 2nd visit and it wasn't a fluke; the staff was just as friendly as my first visit, plus this visit I met Dr. Nguyen and he was very nice also. I felt like they really cared about me and the health of my teeth. I would recommend Lafayette Modern Dentistry.

Had a consultation for my wisdom teeth and was told that they are in network with my insurance. After calling numerous people from the insurance company and CONFIRMING that my wisdom teeth surgery is covered i went in to the dentist office just for them to tell me my insurance is “lying to me” and they don’t actually cover it. The people at the front desk wouldn’t give me a straight answer. Not only that but when i asked them why they thought my insurance was lying half the staff came out to tell me i didn’t know anything. If you’re looking to get your wisdom teeth out DONT DO IT HERE. THEY WILL TRY TO SCAM YOU!!

My wife and I both go here. Got this place by luck when my tooth broke have been going for over 2 years. They are upfront with all plans goes over each step what the insurance pays and what you pay. They have affordable payment options and work with you every step of the way

This is one of the best dentists I've ever been to. They are kind and really forward with any information you might need. I can really tell how much they care about patients.
On another note, I looked at the two 1 star reviews they have. Both reviews read like something made up because neither of them reference the actual issue they have. I asked where the corporate office is while I was here. It's in California, so one of those reviews isn't accurate. And the other guy used his own account to give all of his own businesses 5 star reviews. Ignore those reviews.
This place is great, and I hate going to the dentist.
