The best decision I could’ve made when I finally decided to go through with fixing my teeth! Dr. Colburn is amazing!! She always makes sure you’re comfortable & makes sure you’re please with the work they have done!! I have had extensive restoration done & I am so pleased with my new smile!! I can’t wait to see the final outcome in a few weeks!!! The girls in the office are sweethearts & cater to all your needs!!!

I absolutely love this dentist office. I went in for an Emergency extraction, and the staff as well as the dentist was so kind and pleasant. I am switching to them for all of my dental work. When you get great service your business will continue to flourish. Thank you so much!!!!

I came in for a routine cleaning and was berated for having crooked teeth. Listened to two sales pitches from different people about invisalign even though I didn't ask. Then after saying I wasn't interested I was told, "You should fix it now since you have a mask. Who knows how much longer you'll have that." As in what I should be ashamed to not cover my face because my teeth aren't straight? Then she said, "I won't even go there." I said, "What is it?" She said there was discoloring because my teeth are crooked and I need to fix it with a $600 toothbrush. Won't be back. The woman who said that has long brown hair, short, maybe green eyes, and thin eyebrows. Working cleaning teeth at 4 pm on Wednesday.

I was very nervous about this procedure/Covid but felt a sense of ease. the I found that I need to have two teeth pulled. 🥲 Dr. Alice and Ally reassured me that I was in good hands. I felt no pain or any kind of discomfort. Thank you to Exceptional Dental Staff for catering to the Chickens!

Love this place!! Awesome staff...everyone is so friendly and comforting. Lindsey was amazing and patient even gave me a warm pillow.. Dr. Adragna was exceptional. He explained everything thoroughly and was very gentle during procedure. Definitely recommend this place, especially for people like me that have always been afraid of the dentist😁

Omgosh I first have to say that I adore everyone in this office. They ALL remember me, call me by name, and every person is amazing! However, I don't really like the dude with that jackhammer. But I'm warming up.. He's cute and funny and is actually even into muscle cars, proving he's not just somebody that you never actually get to know, and is a family man, and very cool. He performs outstanding work, as well! And he somehow keeps terrified me calm, too!

This place took thousands of dollars from my pocket before royally screwing me. I moved here from out of state and selected this office when I needed emergency dental work done based on their positive reviews. From the first time I stepped in the office I was swindled by their quick talking, pushy associates and condescending front desk workers. I needed a lot of work done and blindly trusted the "professionals" to take good care of me. I was quoted over $7,000 worth of work which was overwhelming, but they assured me I had "financing options through the office" and kept referring to their Care Credit program as their office financing. I signed up not knowing it was for a credit card, the lady I consulted with had me convinced it was directly through their office. I was not happy about that.

After several appointments for an extraction preparing for a dental implant, I went for a routine visit and scheduled my next appointment for an upcoming Monday morning at 8 a.m. I received an automated message and email several days later confirming my appointment for an upcoming Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. Assuming it was just a clerical error, I called the office to let them know of the error and that I would not be able to make that appointment as I am working all day out of town, hence why I had originally scheduled a morning appointment.

I assumed they would be understanding as the error was on their end and accommodate me for a new appointment, however I was told if I rescheduled there would be a $50 PER HOUR rescheduling fee and it was for a 3 hour appointment! I was floored. I reiterated that I still have the handwritten appointment card given to me at the office confirming the Monday morning date and time I agreed to. How could you charge your client a $150 fee for YOUR error?! Absolutely absurd.

Told them forget it. Don't reschedule. "I'll be there."

Appointment time came and went and I intentionally no-showed and ignored their calls. Guess you can't charge a rescheduling fee if you never reschedule. Took my business to Louisiana Dental on Magazine who have been nothing but lovely, customer minded professionals. I will gladly give them my recommendations as well as the remaining thousands of dollars needed for my dental work that "Exceptional" didn't want. The front desk person at Louisiana Dental even told me she was shocked at how rude Exceptional was on the phone when she called to request my records.

Side note, I recently rescheduled a large appointment with Louisiana Dental with no "rescheduling fee." Interesting.

Don't give these crooks at Exceptional the time of day. Plenty of other reputable dental offices in this city.

I think if you can hold your ground, ask a lot of questions, and push for alternative treatment plans— Exceptional Dental can be an alright dental office with a very friendly staff. But if you're more timid like me and want an office that is genuinely there to help you while working with your financial situation— you should maybe look into a limited oral exam at a less corporate dental office.

I went into Exceptional in Mid City for a $78 full exam and cleaning. I explained upfront that I have no insurance and was there specifically for a filling that fell out. Everybody was incredibly sweet and kind— but with a very brief discussion, I was given a $6500 treatment plan for 7 fillings, 2 crowns, and a root canal procedure. It felt very tone-deaf of the doctor and I would've appreciated an upfront analysis of dental work that is most pressing and what could maybe wait.

The tooth that was recommended a root canal didn't hurt at all- so I followed up at Audubon Dental Group for a second opinion. They said I don't need a root canal, just a filling and that I should get two additional fillings in my other teeth. They gave me a $575 treatment plan that feels very manageable and I feel listened to by them.

I can't really recommend Exceptional Dental when they prescribed an unnecessary root canal. They also referred me for an extraction of four wisdom teeth when two other dental offices and an orthodontist have told me that my wisdom teeth are in perfectly straight- not causing issues.

Finally, I am upset that a filling wasn't discussed as an alternative to the root canal, because it added an unnecessary step in my treatment process. I went an extra week and a half with that tooth being open and susceptible to further decay.
