I’ve been here before and had an okay experience so when I began to experience pain on the lower left side of my mouth I gave them a call and was told I could walk in, so I did. They took images and gave me a plan of treatment, it was all going fine until I asked for something stronger than a 400mg ibuprofen. I was told that I would not need anything stronger than that to manage the pain I’ve been in. After I told them that I have been taking 800mg ibuprofen for the last week and I’ve had no relief they assured me that the 400mg would help and escorted me to the pay desk even though I asked to speak to the dentist again to try and explain to her. Once I got to the pay desk, further try to explain that a situation just happened and that I was left feeling unheard and very disrespected. That’s when the “manager” came and repeatedly told me that “$28 dollars is due today” she could care less that her staff was unprofessional and treated me poorly —( I have my suspicions on why) she was more concerned about $28 dollars than the fact I was leaving in tears after being told “no way was I in that much pain”. That statement made under the guise of being concerned about giving out too many pain killers was really just prejudice being displayed. I don’t even like to take pain medication but I am in so much pain and discomfort that I asked for something stronger because I know what I was prescribed would not help me in the slightest. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I will never understand how you can work in a field where you are to help people— ALL PEOPLE, but allow your prejudices and preconceived notions about people to keep you from doing that.

Went in for the quickest no-wait cleaning today! Tess was my hygienist and had me in and out within an hour tops, didn't give me unnecessary x-rays or treatments, just a thorough cleaning and polish! Clean, nice office that's really convenient & Kristina helped me by suggesting an affordable dental discount plan.

Dr. Wallace is absolutely the best dentist in New Orleans, she is so patient and kind with my autistic daughter and Mary our hygienist is absolutely wonderful!! They are both compassionate and caring professionals. We would be lost without them in caring for our daughter and her teeth. I Love them too!! So much so that I switched dentist's last year and they are now my dentist and hygienist. The staff is also amazing and we enjoyed checking out today with Kristina. This place is wonderful!!!

Ms. Mary was awesome. She was focused, had good energy and she actually care about the well being of my teeth. She knew what she was doing, on top of making sure I was not feeling any discomfort. You will not leave her chair without knowing co-pays, follow ups and or what needs to be done in the near future and that’s why she’s good at what she do. Your the best Ms. Mary. Darius was cool. He made sure I was satisfied with the visit.

I called with an emergency (which they supposedly specialize in) and the receptionist told me the cut off for walk in was 11am. I just so happen to leave 6 blocks away so when I get there at 10:50, she (I’m almost positive the same person I spoke to on the phone) tells me it’s 10am now. They turned away a patient in severe pain and I’m pretty sure lied to me at some point about their hours. Would not recommend.

I’m giving this place 3 stars for a couple of reasons. First off I would like to say I got my wisdom teeth out and the extraction it’s self went very easy and dr Wallace did a great job. I was in and out within 45 mins. But I feel like some of my experience was unprofessional. First off I felt like a number not a patient. I felt like they didn’t give me much aftercare info. I was told it was all on the paper work I was given and it was not. Also front desk tried to charge me full price when I had already paid for more than half my first visit. Most of all I got the teeth out on a holiday and all pharmacies were closed so I had to go with out pain medicine for the whole first day and a half. The office should have given me a heads up on this or called in the medication to a location they knew was open. We called them to let them know this and they said they would call in the medication to a location open and and they did not. I am not someone who leaves reviews ever. But in this case I’ve been in a a lot of pain and shouldnt have had to be in this situation.

From the moment I called to make an appointment the staff was kind and compassionate. I have major dentist anxiety, but every member of the staff has been nothing but kind, always accommodating of my fears and nervousness. Dr. Wallace and her staff are so kind, I have referred almost my whole family to this office. Dr. Wallace never makes me feel rushed, and happily answers my questions before proceeding with any procedure.
The entire office staff builds such a great relationship with the patients that they had me laughing during my appointment today- something I never thought would happen in a dentists office. The office itself is beautiful, well maintained and clean, while remaining warm and welcoming, avoiding the cold sterility of many clinics.
The office staff are very kind and clear regarding the pricing schedule and that clarity has removed much of my wallet based dental anxiety.

If you are looking for a dentist who will calm your fears and help you achieve dental health, this is the place for you.
