Initially like everyone else we are afraid of the dentist, but once u enter the vibe of the environment is very calm and ur greeted with a warm welcome. The staff is amazing very kind ,helpful and professional. They removed all fears I had. I had all 4 wisdom extraction and in the process of getting braces now. Highly recommend La Dental Magazine for best care

Dr. Wallace and the staff at the Louisiana Dental Center saved my dream vacation ! My crown fell off at the airport on a Thursday and I called several dentists near the french quarter. None could see me on such notice and so affordable. Dr. Wallace was just wonderful, thanks to her I was able to enjoy all of the great food in NOLA and on a Caribbean cruise ! Forever grateful.

I love my Dentist, Marquita Wallace! I had an accident in January and broke one of my front teeth. They were able to see me 1st thing on Monday morning. My dentist was sympathetic and very gentle with my injuries. I needed a root canal which they scheduled the next week for me. The veneer they order is a perfect match. You can't even tell that I ever had an accident. My dental insurance did not cover all of the charges so Beau took my medical information and was able to get my health insurance to pay for almost half of my charges! Since then I have moved across town but I will go out of my way to continue to see the ladies in this office!

From out of town and was in New Orleans for the saints game and a little relaxation. First night there, had a toothache, a horrible toothache, the worst pain I’ve ever felt. I didn’t sleep at all that night and was writhing in pain seeking out dentists in an unfamiliar city who could see me on a Saturday morning with short notice. Finally, I had the fortune of calling the LA Dental Center on Magazine and from that moment on, things started to look up and I felt like I was back on vacation. Dr. Wallace and her team got me in as soon as I called and took great care of me during a very tough time. She changed a disaster trip into an awesome memorable vacation. Very high professionalism and efficiency that got me back on my feet for the remaining 3 days of the trip. Thank you so so much and I will be spreading the good word about your business!

In the spirit of full disclosure, I have to admit that my experience was SO MUCH better once I was checked in. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. They got rid of the pain in no time at all and took special care to explain all of my options to me. I have already referred my brother to the dental center for the same procedure I had. The root canal was much worse in my mind than it was in reality.
I do recommend making an appointment. Two thumbs up though.

I've visited this location 3 times and each occasion I had an appointment but still ended up waiting for a minimum of 40 minutes to an hour to be seen. When asking the staff, they shrugged it off, denied overbooking, and offered no solution on how this could be improved.
It should be a basic expectation that people's time is valued and respected and this business fails dramatically in that category.
