I went for my routine cleanup for the first time after Dr. Kate retired, and I really felt the difference: I was seen 20 mins later than the appointed time, the technician was kind and did her job quickly, but the doctor went through the routine cleanup quickly, not very detailed or thorough as Dr. Kate, and my concerns were not addressed. I don't know if it was a busy day, but it's unfortunate that it happened.

This practice has gone completely downhill with the new owner. Practice was totally busy, unlike with Dr. Kate's office when it felt safer during covid.
I got a random dentist (not the new owner) and was not informed before hand. New dentist questioned Dr. Kate's x-rays and said I had many cavities on my old x-rays that Dr. Kate didn't previously diagnose and needed new x-rays. I was not impressed, and will be looking for a new dentist.

I absolutely love Dr. Kate and her staff! The front office is warm and friendly and very helpful. Dr. Kate is terrific -- she never appears rushed and is always asking about family and is willing to share the latest news about hers. Most importantly, I am very pleased about the dental care.... I have recommended Dr. Kate to a number of family members and friends all of whom have had experiences similar to mine. I couldn't ask for anything more in a doctor.

Dr. Kate and Layla are the best dental team I have ever visited! I started going to them in 2013 and even since I have changed jobs and moved farther away, I still come all the way to Bethesda to see them! I tried my husband's dentist once and had a horrible experience and Layla saw me immediately the next day and assured me there were indeed no cavities (I've never had one!). I love that Dr. Kate and I have educational connections with the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) And UMB! But even beyond that, Dr. Kate and Layla are kind, honest, and provide high quality care! Thanks for being so great!
