I tried to schedule an appt with the office staff and was told each time that my insurance was not valid. After contacting Aetna each time to verify, I called to reschedule. My insurance was valid from the start but I was told by the doctor that I would need to pay a $50 fee. I don't understand why if indeed my insurance was in fact valid from day one. Very unprofessional office staff. I would've expected a phone call from the doctor before handing off any fees if the office staff made an error.
