I love this dental office! I used to dread going to the dentist because I always felt like they just pushed unnecessary services on me and judged my less than perfect brushing techniques.
However this office is everything my previous dentists were not. The excellent service begins at the reception desk. No nasty attitudes or unprofessionalism to deal with.

Beautiful office, great technology and amazing staff! There was an issue with my insurance and Dr. Melika dealt with the insurance company to get my services and treatment approved so I wouldn't have to pay full price for a crown that should have been covered under my insurance. Also, she cleans my teeth in a way that is gentle and doesn't hurt! Definitely the best dental office I have ever been to.

Excellent dentists! Over the past year I had seen three dentist each one horrible in both service and practice. Dr. Shatergholi and Dr. Moaddab are absolutely amazing as they are friendly and able to convey information in an understandable manner. They take the time to sit with you and discuss your dental issues as well as explain their way of thinking. I recently just got two crowns from them and I am amazed by both the service and kindness given. Unlike other dentist they won’t try to pressure you into doing egregious dental work just to make money, rather they will explain your options and tell you the absolute truth even if they don’t make a dime from it. I can honestly say that these guys are the most talented dentists who are both kind and humble.

Dr. Shatergholi is the best! She is knowledgeable, patient, and detail oriented. She really cares about her patients and provides individualized care. A few years ago, I brought my dad to Dr. Shatergholi with a very complicated case. We had been to 3 different dentists at this point, all recommended pulling all of his teeth out and putting in dentures or full mouth of implants. Needless to say, neither were ideal. Dr. Shatergholi worked with us and multiple dental surgeons to explore options and found a treatment plan that ended up saving most of his teeth, with a combination of crowns and only a few implants, saving us thousands of dollars. I am most grateful that she saved my dad from the pain and suffering of losing all his teeth!! Years later, my dad hasn’t needed any additional work, just the regular cleanings. He has a great set of teeth allowing him to eat all his favorite foods. We thought we were out of option and the last resort was to pull all his teeth. If we haven’t found Dr. Shatergholi that’s exactly what would have happened. Do your research, get multiple opinions, and if you’re smart, see Dr. Shatergholi before getting any dental work!

5 Stars! I have never been so satisfied with a dental office in my entire life! I've seen many dentists throughout my 32 and some years and none compare to Dr. Melika Shatergholi and her staff. When I arrived for my appointment, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I had virtually no wait. They immediately brought me over for some x-rays and Dr. Shatergholi sat me down and patiently explained what I should be concerned about. She was extremely honest without pushing unnecessary procedures on me (like many dentist in the past have done). She immediately started the cleaning. Dr. Shatergholi knew I was nervous so she kept my mind at ease by explaining everything she was doing, and before I knew it, the cleaning was done! Completely painless and easy! I even went home with a 'goody bag' filled with teeth-related items! Overall, a great experience! Highly recommend this office for anyone looking for a dentist in the DC area!

I've had the same dentist for the last 20+ years and was a little nervous going to someone new after moving to the area. The staff were very helpful with the transition. The doctor is very pleasant to speak with and i felt comfortable sharing any concerns I had. I didn't wait long and they have Netflix which is a nice distraction. We had a little snag with my cleaning, but the doctor resolved the problem immediately. Looking forward to my next visit.
