They recommended I pull my perfectly good baby tooth out because I didn’t have the adult tooth underneath. Bad recommendation after bad recommendation and now I am dealing with very costly dental procedures. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone.

Dr. Dechter and Dr. Moy are amazing dentists! I've been a patient for years and the whole staff is incredible and very welcoming. I've had damage to my front tooth and both Dr. Moy and Dr. Dechter have done work on it. Today I received my permanent tooth and I couldn't be happier! The color is perfect and feels and looks amazing. After having multiple procedures to replace the tooth I lost, all the staff has been incredibly helpful to explain what needs to be done/why it needs to be done. I couldn't recommend them enough and i'm absolutely thrilled with my teeth!

I've never written a review in my life, but this was the best dental experience I've ever had. The staff at Dechter & Moy is warm and friendly. The office is homey and inviting. Florence, the hygienist, is kind, gentle, and thorough. Dr Dechter was also very nice and gave reasonable advice on what would be needed without making you feel pressured. They even gave me a goody bag to go home with :) I recommend 100%!

I finally got the courage to go to a dentist after 15 years. I am so happy with my choice of Dechter and Moy. For a crown Dr. Dechter immediately put me at ease with his caring and considerate manner and his professionalism. For gum cleaning I had Florence Chery, their Dental Hygienist, who was very skilled, focused, yet congenial. She made sure I was comfortable at every stage and did a very careful and meticulous job. After retirement, I was looking for dental care in the suburb of Maryland instead of going back to my dentist in downtown DC. I am so glad that I found Dr Moy. I was very impressed by the service provided: personal, caring, considerate & professional. The staff were friendly & understanding. Their equipments & technology used were first class & up to date. The cleaning was gentle but efficient. Dr. Moy not just takes care of you, he explains, offers you options & works with you. I am really looking forward to being under his care as I know I will be in good hands!

What a GREAT dental practice!!! I found them through a referral in 2004 after years of trying to replace our retired dentist who I grew up with. Dr. Moy was fantastic. I had some serious work to be done (from an accident) and he was upfront and helped talk me through the entire process. He was thorough in his explanations of what was wrong and what needed to be done. Every step of the way he explained what he was doing. He made me feel comfortable the entire time and asked how I was throughout the procedure. I felt I could trust him completely. He had the latest technology that made things a lot quicker and painless. The end result was fabulous teeth and I am 100% satisfied. I would suggest that everyone see Dr. Moy.

Dr. Moy is so attentive to the patient's needs and feelings. I definitely am comfortable discussing my fears and expectations knowing I will be met with excellent results. He will not pressure me into accepting treatment or procedures for which I don't feel comfortable. On the other hand, he will provide me with an informed decision and relate his findings so that I can make the best decision for my dental health.
I have only dealt with Dr. Dechter once in an emergency, but he was just as attentive and sensitive to my needs.
Further, their staff treat you as family. They know me by name even though I don't call that often. They are empathetic and so very helpful. I am in good hands from start to finish.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Dechter and his assistant. Dr. Dechter has been my dentist fo about 30 years - he has always been great. On my last visit, I was pleased to have a very able, efficient, and professional assistant to clean my teeth. It was an enjoyable experience -- especially considering it WAS the dentist. :-)
