Dental Partners of Brookline

I have been going to Dental Partners of Brookline for decades because the care is fabulous. Dr. Blissett and Leah are highly skilled and make my appointments enjoyable. I highly recommend this practice.

This is a wonderful practice. Dr. Blisset was a true professional and was very kind to boot. I went in waiting to hear the worst and left with hope. If you are wanting an honest opinion of what your dental options might be, call to see this awesome dentist.

Dr. Blissett - was amazing, I highly recommend him. I needed a whole mouth reconstruction and it came out beautiful. He is so gentle, patient and listens to everything. I really was impressed. And his assistant is such a lovely person as well!! Really loved having her there. And they are both very covid safe - two masks. The front desk in general was good, but most super impressed.

Best dental practice I have been to. Love my dentist who is so kind and explains things so well. And had the best hygienist this morning as well who was so informative and did an excellent, thorough but gentle job cleaning my teeth. Great experience!

Last Friday I went to DPB for a consultation for both upper and lower arch dental implants. As you can imagine I was quite anxious and embarrassed. I was immediately welcomed to the practice by the front office staff. I then met with Julia Flanders, the Implant Specialist. She really set the tone for my visit as she made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. After listening to what my issues were and getting a sense of what my goals were, she went over the process in simple, easy to understand terms. After getting my x-ray/scan done I then met with Dr. Boustani and Dr. Blissett. They collaborated on my customized treatment plan, told me what to expect each step of the way and what the ultimate goal would be. Again, they listened intently to my concerns and answered all my questions and clearly described the entire process from start to finish. I truly felt my best interests were being served. Though I haven't made my final decision on where I'll be getting this implant surgery done, if your considering having this procedure done, make an appointment for your complimentary consultation with Dental Partners of Brookline. It's a big decision and commitment.

This place is hard to find but DEFINITLY worth the effort. Look for the 2nd tall white building on the right. I need a ton of work done so I'm getting multiple quotes. I've only been here once but they are obviously contentious about price. They are super nice. And, I was able to look through a book of their work. Wow. All I can say. If you're looking to improve your smile, I highly recommend Dental Partners of Brookline.

Leah is an excellent dental hygienist whom I’ve gone to for years. She is thorough, communicative, helpful, and reliable. I highly recommend her.
The administrative staff in the practice is also very helpful and professional, and I have worked with some of them for years.
Currently I am getting to know a new dentist in the practice, and she seems very professional as well.
I highly recommend this practice.

First meeting today after a recommendation of someone I saw Dr. Blissett work done on …. Beautiful implants and outstanding praise for Dr. Blissett and his staff was giving all around ..Based on this I had my first meeting to go over some serious problems…. He was extremely knowledgeable about a problem I have and knew exactly why problems occurring…Prior dentist did not..He spent time listening to me, and he explained all options I have… He will be putting a plan together for me so I can decide which option is best for me… Can’t wait to get started which should be sometime next week… Seriously I looked long and had to find the right dentist and bingo!!!!! Don’t hesitate!!!!

Tl;dr Dr. Blisset completely missed severe bone loss in my jaw, which I will deal with the effects of for the rest of my life, due to negligence and lack of care/interest.

I would never recommend this practice to anyone facing a serious medical issue. In particular, I would not send any friends or family to Dr Blisset who dismissed me because my only symptom was severe pain. He assumed that because I am a young woman, it must just be in my head (this is not my opinion,he all but said this when confronted). In reality, I was suffering from severe bone loss in my jaw, which I had treated elsewhere by a doctor that actually bothered to look at my jaw rather than suggesting that I "just try botox" (which is *not* an effective treatment for a disintegrating joint.)
If you are suffering from jaw pain, either look elsewhere or be very firm with this man and advocate for your own health because at his young age, he seems to have already lost all professional curiosity and a good chunk of empathy for his patients. Ego has no place in healthcare and Dr. Blisset would be wise to remember that going forward. If he doesn't, I can only imagine the damage he could cause in his future career.
The office staff has been responsive to my concerns, but it has been too little too late and I would never put my health or trust in the hands of this practice again.
