American Dental - The Best Dentist Office in Malden

One of, if not the, most gentle, professional and caring staff i've ever encountered. I've been to several dental clinics in the past and have always had that slight panic (dental phobia) before and during every appointment. However, since I switched to this clinic and had my teeth-work done by Dr. Saif, not once have I experienced any dental anxiety, which is a game changer to me!! The dentists here work you through every step they are going to make, making sure you are comfortable and pain free. The receptionists are the sweetest + super friendly. Calling my old dentist's office was literally like pulling teeth (no pun intended) just to schedule or reschedule an appointment. At this clinic... that's no longer an issue.

If you're looking for a good, clean, modern and caring dentist, THIS PLACE IS YOUR BEST BET.

Everyone has been great! I called because I chipped my tooth and they were able to get me in the same day. I ended up getting a much needed cleaning and filling on the tooth all at the same time. We thought I was going to need a crown, but no one pushed it on me and gave me alternatives. Big fan of that! They’re also fixing an old crown that was making me crazy and even the temporary one felt 10x better than the old crown. Glad I found the practice!

I am terrified of the dentist, and let me tell you I will never go anywhere else, the whole staff is amazing and so kind, I never felt so safe in a dentist office before! I will be seeing Ram for all of my dental needs forever lol!! Thank you again to the awesome staff of amazing women

My Nmae is Donna Frongillo.The dentist and dental assist really explained everything step by step and were nice. I was in alot of pain before I even got there. I was given novicane to take the edge off the pain but when it wore off I was still in pain again. I called back and had a slight issue with a female desk reseptionest. Apparently she was new and needed more training dealing with people in pain. As soon as the office manager ( Zara ) heard about my complaint she called me right away and She told me to come in the next morning and they would help me. I went in next morning and met Dr. Mike who was very professional and caring. He helped me with pain management and when I got home, after taking the pain medication I ate my first meal in a week pain free. I still have a lot of painful work to be done but am confident that American Dental will take good care of me.

Always unfortunate to have to see a dentist for an emergency extraction on a weekend. Unless you call these folks! Took me in as a last minute booking (not even a patient prior). Saw me on time, addressed the issue while patiently walking me through all the steps of the procedure. I absolutely despise going to the dentist (47 years old), and am now happy to say that I’m looking forward to my next appointment in May. Well done my friends, thank you again!!

This will be my new dentist. Dr. Ram and his staff are so patient. The entire office has excellent customer service. They are friendly and try to make their clients comfortable.

I came into the office and was immediately greeted by the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. Every single person behind the front desk were very helpful, social, funny, charismatic and just all around fantastic. While waiting to be seen I told them how afraid of the dentist I was and that due to my fear I have neglected having a tooth fixed for over a year and a half. It was so bad I stopped chewing on the right side of my mouth for over a year just to avoid having to go to the dentist. They joked with me and made me feel so comfortable. I was then seen by doctor Ram and an assistant who were great. He gave me the option to pull my tooth right then or to take antibiotics for a few days which will make it easier to extract in terms of pain and discomfort. I chose to wait and take the meds which I did. Fast forward 4 days of taking meds and it’s time to go back. They called to confirm several times because they knew how scared I was and also how important it was for me to get this tooth extracted. So I walk in and every girl behind the desk were all expecting me and began joking with me right away to ease my concerns. It felt so good when everyone knew my name and knew how scared I was and that they all went out of their way to make me laugh. I got my temp taken and immediately was told to head on back. I was escorted to the room by the Doctors assistant who was a delightful Albanian woman (I feel terrible I forgot her name but my fear made my brain not work so well haha). She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable by placing a tv in front of me and allowing me to pick something to watch or listen to in order to take my mind off of the extraction. The Doctor came in and said “Chris, we don’t normally do this but because of how scared you are, I am going to go the extra mile for you. In that very moment I knew I had picked the best dentist around. He then put numbing cream on my tooth and gums and then waited. He then explained every single thing he was going to do before he did it and constantly was checking in with me to see how I was doing. He then said “I am going to inject a little Novocain just under the skin, then I’ll wait a few min so it takes effect and then go a little deeper and wait then a little deeper and wait then all the way and wait”. That’s exactly what he did. I honestly felt a slight pinch in the beginning which hurt but no more then when you bite your tongue or lip by mistake. After letting all the area get numb he then said “Ok the worst is over, now you are just going to feel some pressure and you may hear a little crackle and a pop.” So he started doing his thing and if I’m being honest it was done so quick and painless that when he turned away from me, I thought he was getting another tool but nope. He turned away to place the tooth on his side table. That’s right, he took the tooth out and I didn’t even know it was out! We all laughed and joked about it and he then gave me my instructions for after care along with a prescription for Motrin and antibiotics. On the way out I was immediately greeted by a very beautiful girl who was behind the front desk. She had a sticker for me and placed it on my arm as we both laughed at the fact that I’m possibly the biggest baby she has ever seen standing at an infant size of 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing slightly more then an infant at 250lbs haha The point being that not only was doctor Ram hands down the best dentist I have ever been to but even his staff was so exceptional that I can’t recommend this place enough. Keep in mind the last time I had been to the dentist was years and years ago, so long that I’m embarrassed to say the real amount of time. After visiting this office I have decided to use Dr. Ram for any and everything I need moving forward. They scheduled me for a follow up in two weeks and I can’t wait to go back and continue to work on fixing my smile. I can’t thank the staff and Doctor Ram enough! Hands down the very best I’ve ever been to. He cured my fear of the dentist and he can cure yours to!

Great experience! The staff has been nothing but amazing. Dr. Naji and Dr. Bender are highly skilled and professional and provided me excellent care. They treat you like

Awesome people work here! My 5 year old had a baby tooth that was coming out wrong and a jagged edge was tearing up her lip. She could hardly eat or talk for 3 days because it was causing such pain. The doctor sent us downstairs to this office and they were amazing! They took us immediately. They showed extreme patience in calming a very scared 5 year old and waited until she was comfortable before starting anything. They talked to her and explained everything to her until she agreed to let them take it out. They let her hold a mirror and see herself and they let her handle all of the tools (except for the Novocain of course) and knew just how to speak to her. They extracted her baby tooth with no trouble at all. She didn't even know it was gone. I am so relieved!! And so isn't my daughter!

I have seen both Dr. Nani, and Dr. Al bender. I was very satisfied with their work. They are one of the best doctors in the dentistry. They have also a great assistants, I loved talking to them. The office is kind of small, but clean and located in a convenient location. I would definitely recommend this place.
