Gentle Dental Somerville

I would not recommend people to go to this clinic. Switched to this clinic because it’s closer to my home and with parking. I would say my dentist and technicians are very friendly and with positive attitude but I had problem with one of my filing which was a minor cavity. Still feel sharp pain even after a month of my filing and the doctor was not sure why. Did offer me to redo the filing for free but I have lost my trust.

And not the most efficient front desk, admin and billing system. They are not sure about many things and getting different answers few times when I ask.They asked me many times for insurance card and still saying there is a problem with my claim after over a month of my first visit. If there is anything, they would ask you to contact the home office that is super busy. I would say choose another clinic to save you some money and energy.

I went for a deep cleaning and I must say when it comes to a dentist appointment, I’m a BIG BABY and a very difficult client because of my gum sensitivity. To my pleasant surprise, I had one of the best experiences with deep cleaning. I credit the hygienist, Yen Le, for her great patience and skill..I felt almost nothing! For the first time I’m looking forward to keeping my second appointment. I strongly recommend gentle dental and Yen Le.

The Front Desk staff are fantastic. My dentist was fantastic. I personally don’t like going to the dentist but this place makes it a little less stressful. I give this place the 5 stars it deserves.

I had my teeth deep cleaned by Hygienist, Tenzin Choekyi today at Somerville Gentle Dental. She is very thorough and friendly. I was hesitant about the cleaning as like most people I hate going to the dentist but after she walked me through what she'd be doing, I felt more confident about getting my deep cleaning. The experience was a pleasant one and I highly recommend Tenzin. I feel more confident smiling after the cleaning and look forward to my next appointment. She is a great hygienist.

Love this place. Carmen (and everyone else) at the front are super kind, they always explain coverage super well and are ready to make arrangements for us. This place compared to other gental dental has more availability and the doctors are (as the title suggest) super gentle. Wisdom teeth out was a breeze. Great recommendations, overall my dental health improved a lot thanks to them.

Have been going here for almost 2 years now. Just had a change of staff and while I was sad to see my old dentist move on Dr Cerulli (who was brought in to replace him) has been wonderful. Paitent and great at explaining what she was about to do. I am not so great with needles and when I needed novicane she numbed me first and made sure I knew exactly where and when I would be pricked so nothing was surprising and I didn't even feel a thing! Amanda at the front desk is also great and so much fun to talk to :D

Had come in for a deep cleaning. I probably had the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist visit. Not only did this hygienist do a ridiculously amazing job, from taking her time to explaining everything she was doing, but she was also very personable and sweet! Just from that visit alone I can honestly say I would go back and request her every time! If you find yourself at Somerville gentle dental make sure you ask for Tenzin Choekyi, she is a pleasure and her work is above standard!

Very friendly and accommodating staff. I was searching for a new dentist and definitely picked the right place. I had to have two root canals and crowns put on my front teeth after a fall. I was so nervous, yet they made me feel so relaxed. They did a great job and my two front teeth look identical, if not better, than my original teeth.

Dr JanGan was the best. Patient and kind and courteous!! She worked on me with a very difficult tooth for over 4 hours. I can’t thank her enough for her patience and true kindness for this difficult task. And the office staff were the best!! Thank you to the most pleasant people.
