Gentle Dental Somerville

I've had a great experience here! After newly moving to the area I was looking for a dentist for a much needed deep cleaning. So far I've been to Gentle Dental three times and each time has been a pleasant experience. I'd highly recommend the hygienist Rey Mota, he's to the point, great as his job, and also has a good sense of humor. The front desk staff is also very pleasant. For however long I'm in the Boston area, this will be the place I will go to for all of my dental needs.

Just had an appt for a root canal. For someone with “dental anxiety” like me, ALL the employees including the dentist are amazing in easing you. They are funny but very professional. From Jose the new manager to the higiene assistant who held my hand while I got the anesthesia, amazing. Thank you so much for everything.

I have been coming here for many years. I love how friendly and welcoming everyone is, especially Amanda. I have been seen with both Dr Jangam and Dr. Cerulli and they are both great. With the pandemic happening at the moment I feel very safe coming in as I see everyone following all protocols. I appreciate the office being open and everyone working there at the moment.

I could write paragraphs about how wonderful Gentle Dental in Somerville is. As someone who has hated the dentist since I was a child and well into my adulthood they have made this such a positive experience I actually look forward to coming back. From being greeted, scheduled, or checked out the customer service is beyond wonderful. Carmen and Margaret are just truly the sweetest/kindest people and make me feel seen and heard. Nancy is also such a pleasure and Dr. Shelby Cerulli is single handedly the best dentist I've ever had in my 27 years of life. I couldn't be more thankful and happy with the staff and service from Gentle Dental Somerville. Highly recommend!

I had THREE teeth removed yesterday. (Including a wisdom tooth). I have had not one ounce of pain. Everyone in there is so nice and friendly. And it was very inexpensive. Idk if that’s due to my dental insurance or not lol. But I would definitely recommend checking them out. I will be returning for other things that I need done.

I was there for the second time to received assistance from my dentist and after awaiting for over 45 minutes, the doctor wasn’t already yet.

I had several amazing experiences with the receptionist staff providing for me and my entire family. Additionally, the professionalism, care, and attention to detail by DMD, Tejadvini Jangan is unparalleled in my 40 years experience with dentist from all around the world. She is articulate, sensitive, and a quiet perfectionist who cares about both the dental health and personal aesthetics associated with one’s teeth. I would recommended to anyone given her focus, clarify about details, and concern for smiles.

Dr. Jangam is the best thing that happened to me since moving here. She is incredibly talented, meticulous and immensely patient. My teeth are a hot mess and she has been nothing short of amazing. I had over 7 fillings, a crown, a root canal and 4 extractions; all of which were done within a month at Gentle Dental. She perfectly completed all the restorations so I can promptly begin the orthodontic treatment I have been waiting for since my teens. Her charisma and professionalism made me feel comfortable. I trust her blindly! I have always been embarassed of my teeth. Yet, Dr. Jangam has this grounding and calming energy that makes you feel everything will be okay. While I am beyond excited to finally get my teeth fixed, I am a little sad I won't get to see Dr. Jangam as often. I feel so lucky my path has crossed hers <3 !

I had been a patient at a dental practice associated with a major hospital in Boston for over 30 years. I decided to change to Gentle Dental because my husband started to be seen by Dr. Fessler about a year ago and spoke so highly of the care he received and the accommodating customer service.
I had my first appointment yesterday. I had a full set of X-rays, exam and cleaning.
I can't stop talking about how nice everyone was and how thorough my visit was.
I was blown away when I received a follow up email from Dr. Fessler thanking me for choosing Gentle Dental!!!!! Imagine - the doctor took the time out of his busy day to personally follow up - that is just unheard of.
I hope to have a very long association with Gentle Dental - you really feel important to them. I plan to tell all of my friends about you.
