Gentle Dental Somerville

I do my all my teeth cleanings and fillings here. Dr. Fessler and his staff are an amazing group. They call days before to remind me of my appointment and do a follow-up to check how I'm feeling. I've had some great experiences there. I would recommend this Gentle Dental to anyone who is looking for an affordable and quality experience.

I had an excellent experience here. The office staff and technicians were very friendly and helpful. I had a cleaning and xrays for the $57 new patient rate. They said everything looked good and didn't try to sell me extra/unnecessary services. Dr. Fessler is very down to earth and took his time answering a few questions I had. I feel like I got the cleaning I wanted (the same day I called) without the hassle that I've experienced with other dentists. I cannot speak to any of their other services offered, but I highly recommend this office for a cleaning and check-up!

I went to Gentle Dental yesterday all in a tizzy. I had been experiencing some teeth sensitivity and was anxious about what the cause might have been. Moreover, I had not been to the dentist in four years because I didn't (and continue not to) have dental insurance.

Every staff member at Gentle Dental of Somerville made me feel comfortable. Absolutely no one shamed me for not having seen a dentist in a while or for my lack of dental insurance. They also didn't shame me for my wisdom teeth not having been extracted by age 24 - which ended up being the cause of my woes, evidently.

Everyone was friendly, helpful, and comforting - would recommend.

I had a great experience at the somerville gentle dental! Dr.Fessler is an excellent and passionate dentist. He is very professional and his staff are very friendly and positive. I had 3 fillings done and haven't had any issues so far! Would most definitely go back for other procedures in the future.

Great place. They're always on time and very friendly. There are a lot of dentists closer to me, but it's worth the ride. Dr. Fessler is excellent!

Updated: Still haven’t found a dentist better than Fessler 3 years later and with having lived in 2 different states since then.

My experience. Might different to other.
By the time you get an appointment date you could get your teeth fixed somewhere else. FYI , please bring all your information like license and insurance for their record on appointment and to quote. Otherwise you will rescheduled to a date that months away.

Dr. Daniel Han was very attentive to and thorough in my dental exams. He listened and explained about my dental health for all my concerns and worries. I highly recommend him. Also, the staffs here are professional and reliable.

I couldn’t ask for a better visit with Dr Daniel Han. I was scheduled for Zoom whitening and was a bit nervous since I didn’t have such a great experience with another dentist. However, Dr Han put me at ease and made sure I knew what was going to happen every step of the way. I will definitely be back!

So I went in with very high hopes from all of the reviews, and everyone was very nice. Let me make sure that is clear. But when they went through my x-rays they said I had 5 cavities that needed to be fixed. $600 dollars worth of work. I brush, floss, and use mouthwash every day and I was not buying it, so I got a second opinion. Went to another dentist in Cambridge, and he flat out told me I did not have 5 cavities. Said my teeth might have some staining from coffee, but nothing serious that needed to be worked on. Be careful here, they might draw you in with great deals, but might keep you coming back by entrapping you with additional work.
