I must admit I couldn't be any happier than I am at this specific location in Somerville. Staff is friendly and Dr. Fessler is a down to earth kind of guy. I started coming here for convenience because I work on the Somerville/Cambridge line. Because I liked Dr. Fessler a lot as a dentist and the staff, I convinced my husband to come here. And we live in Wakefield so for him to drive the distance and still till this day means, "This is a great dental office". So if you want to feel welcomed and at ease at a dental office, this is the place. And their pricing is exceptionally good in comparison to other dental practices.

Cleaning your teeth can be stressful. With Shafa at Gentle Dental/Somerville, cleaning your teeth is easy. The job is performed with high standards of care, hygiene and professionalism. She cleans one tooth at time and with lots of enthusiasm. She makes me feel comfortable and I always leave the office knowing that my teeth are cleaned by someone I can trust.

The Best! Dr. Fessler is a MASTER dentist. He replaced a cracked crown, quickly and painlessly (serious), the Hygenist Team are great as is Office staff. I've never had to wait more than 5 mins for any of my appointments. Go to GD, Somerville if you want the best.

Dr. Fessler is knowledgeable, competent, skilled, AND very friendly. I've been to other dentists before and always get nervous, but with Dr Fessler, he spent time explaining the procedure to me in language that I could understand so that I felt comfortable knowing what to expect- he even called me the night after the procedure to check on me! I would highly recommend him!

Within the past month I have had cleaning , both front crowns replaced and zoom whitening . The WHOLE staff at this Somerville GD are awesome !! From Dr.Fessler to Pricilla and everyone else who helped me . They were friendly and kind and made this whole process painless. Front office girls will work with you on making payments which also makes the process that much easier .
I Will be returning for my routine cleaning and will recommend this location to anyone in need of a good dentist !

Front desk was nice, getting in to see Dr Fessler was easy and quick (they were able to fit me in on a sat!), i ended up needing to have a root canal on a tooth (not what i was hoping for). The whole thing went so easy and Dr Fessler was fast and nothing ever hurt! Def will be back to have the rest of my teeth looked at!

Everyone at the office was very professional. I hate to see dentist but Dr. Daniel was very calm and replaced few old fillings. He was super gentle and painless. I would highly recommend this place.

Highly Recommend to everyone!! He's been great with all my kids! My youngest being 6 who needed a lot of work! My son has no fear, and thinks he's so nice!! Everyone at the office is kind, professional and makes it easy!!
