Great office and the most caring staff I have ever been to.I was recommended there a couple of years ago after going without dental care for years because of anxiety and embarrassment. Dr Burt and his staff are exceptional. They understood and made sure I was taken care of in a way that I never or had been before or ever imagined. The best of the best.

Today was my first visit and it’s been my most pleasant experience with a dentist so far….
I’ve always had anxiety with dentists and have been reluctant to go as often as I should.. Alison made me feel so welcome and not only was she understanding and thorough but she answered my 100 questions and we had great conversation in between. She suggested ways to improve my oral care on a daily basis without overwhelming me and got me a consult for Invisalign as well.
Dr. Burt was just as kind and welcoming. He was very straight forward and I could tell he cares about his patients.
Sedation is something I’ve known I need for anything other than a cleaning and Dr. Burt explained all of my options for when the time comes.
If all of this wasn’t enough, they have therapy dogs on a monthly basis, their receptionist is their “chaos coordinator” and their office is stunning.
If I could give 6 stars, I would.

Always very kind and considerate staff. Professional. They do an excellent job and take the best care of you! Highly recommend to all my friends and family. Dental hygenists are excellent and knowledgeable! Dr D and Dr B are trustworthy and truly care about their patients!

My experience after going there for many years has been excellent! The entire staff is so friendly and kind and Dr. Bert is wonderful. I had a fear of going to the dentist and they have made me feel so comfortable and at ease every time I go. I recommend this dental practice to everyone. It has made my dental experience exceptional!

A truly superior Dental experience all around. The staff is extremely friendly in a familial manner with an absolutely gorgeous office. Very thorough process by the dental assistant that didn't feel rushed at all. Doctor D and Dr Burt are top notch Dentists who can explain your teeth's condition in plain terms. Highly recommend!

Best experience I have ever had at the dentist once again at South Shore Dentistry.
The front office staff were attentive and very friendly. Just making the appointment, Matthew took time to verify my insurance and ensure any potential copays. He took extensive time to review my past appointments to know my needs. My hygienist- amazing! She not only has a warm and fun personality, yet she is incredibly knowledgeable, explaining my options and the rationale for my plan of care. Dr. D performed my exam. I love his and the entire staff’s wholistic approach with a strong emphasis on ensuring comfort. They took the time to really understand my needs and goals for my oral health.
Typically, I am very anxious going to the dentist Not with this group! I have full confidence that they will provide superior care and additionally, ensure that I am comfortable and informed.
I even got a little cute gift to start me on my improved oral health plan.

Its been several years since I've been seen at a dentist due to a bad experience that left me terrified of going back. I recently moved to the area and have been searching for the right dentist. I saw south shore online and read the reviews and figured I would give it a try. From the first moment i walked in the door the staff were so welcoming and comforting. I need extensive work done in my mouth and was embarrassed to even have my mouth looked at. The dental hygienist jenna I had was truly amazing walked me through everything they did. Took her time explaining everything in detail and throughout the entire visit made sure I was 100% comfortable and not scared. I met doctor Burt for the final leg of my visit to go over a treatment plan and he was amazing as well. He went over in detail what his plan was for me, what he recommended, and what he thought would be the best course of action. Very upfront about cost. Not once did I feel pressured into going with a certain option. Thank you to everyone I dealt with at South shore dentistry, and thank you for restoring my faith in going back to the dentist!

Can't recommend South Shore Dentistry enough. Everybody there is incredibly friendly and welcoming. My appointment today with Alison was so informative and comfortable and she made some awesome recommendations. Plus, there's a super friendly dog in the office. 5 stars isn't enough for this place!
