Thirty four years of excellent dentistry experiences! Have there been a few ups and downs, sure, but overall this practice has taken care of our family in the most professional manner possible. We started out when the practice was downtown and here we are today getting dental implants done in a cost effective manner with the most capable and compassionate staff one could hope for. Don’t hesitate to give them a try and if something is not to your liking I’ve always found them willing to listen and work with you to iron out any problems you might have.

So, I am not a person who likes going to the dentist, but the DHP staff are amazing. They really make you feel comfortable, and go out of their way to make visits pleasant. They have a high quality of service, and make getting in and seen, paid, and scheduled for next visits quick and easy.

Worst Dental experience ever. Very unprofessional. Dr. Shell doesn't take questions or complaints seriously, he acts like the Patient doesn't know what they're talking about. I was left with a hole to my sinuses after an extraction, and they sent me to an oral surgeon who didn't accept my BCBS insurance, and a whole host of other issues all because his poor judgment & ego wouldn't allow him to put an additional stitch at the time it was extracted. So after dealing with this for over a year, it's still not healed. In addition, they didn't even manage to make the dentures look like my real teeth, somehow they couldn't follow the molds/impressions they took and I approved in advance, they just made up a random, crooked, and misaligned plate. So thanks for all the cutesy fake small talk conversations, that and a chapstick was all I got besides a nightmare. Oh and, they don't accept the actual amount your insurance pays, so follow the money.
I strongly recommend going anywhere else.

These guys got me in the same day when nobody else could in Big Rapids. Well worth the 40 minute drive! My appointment was at 11 I got there at 10:50 for paperwork and I did not wait long they had me right back for my severe tooth ache. Although I was sent to a specialist, by the time I left I had little pain after a couple Tylenol. The specialist they referred me to got me in the same day. No complaints about my visit here coming from a guy who’s hated going to the dentist his entire life! Thank you to Dr. Kobty and the entire staff for making my visit quick and as painless as possible!

Took my 6 year old granddaughter there on an emergency basis. They was so great with her. Very gentle, kind and explained everything to me. Im actually trading my dentist to here. Loved this place.

Absolutely best dentist hands down. Dr.Shell and the gals are a blast to converse with and he is really an artist when it comes to his craft. I was not a huge fan of the dentist due to a bad experience but i really felt comfortable here with Dr.Shell and his staff right away.
Don't wait to come in! I was ashamed I had let my teeth go for almost 15 years. It wasnt as bad as I thought. Get yourself a treatment plan and pay in increments. They will work with you. Stop dealing with the tooth pain and get in here ! Also the secretary staff are stellar! Great with reminders and if you need to reschedule or get in earlier they make it happen. Life happens and they truly get it !

Love this place a lot. I went in today and they made me feel right at home and did an amazing job on cleaning my teeth. They helped with the appearance of a fake tooth that needs replaced. Sadly which I can’t do because I’m pregnant. But they did super amazing with all they could do for me. I feel more confident with my teeth now. The dentist I seen was also super friendly.

Everyone at Dental Health is great to work with. The moment you walk in the door your greeted with a warm smile. The lobby is completely updated and very professional. Dr. DeHaan takes amazing care of me despite my sweet tooth :). I highly recommend Dental Health Professionals!

I’ve been going to this practice for 25 years and have been through three different doctors. I would never go anywhere else. The best three things about this practice are:
1) How nice everyone is - doctors and staff
2) Having seven doctors means someone is always on call for emergencies who actually works there
3) Extended hours - they take appointments until 8 PM four days per week which is really helpful if you don’t get paid leave for dental
I couldn’t recommend DHP more.

Best dental experience ever..Dr.Lauren Rule and Mecca are truely an awesome team. I have struggled for many years with dental issues . I was at a point in my life that my teeth made me very self conscious and I didnt want to smile. I made my appointment with Dr.Rule and we discussed options and made a plan. I can honestly say I experienced absolutely no pain in this entire process! The results are stunning!
My confidence has soared! I find myself smiling all the time. I have had so many people tell me I have a beautiful smile. Thank you Dr.Rule my entire outlook on my life has changed and improved. Your the best!
