If I could give negative stars I would. Every tooth of mine Murav worked on broke and I have had to have thousands of dollars worth of dental work and implants done after he worked on my teeth. I know several other people with similar experiences.
Everyone at the office including him were extremely nice with every interaction, but having dental work that you have to return for on a monthly basis to be fixed continuously is just more profit for him and not good for the longevity of one's teeth.

My daughter has autism, and prior to coming to Decatur family dentistry we could not find a dentist who was able to complete an exam and cleaning in office. Every time she needed dental care we had to coordinate with a dentist and hospital to complete her care under anesthesia. We are so grateful to have those days behind us!! Heather, her hygienist, is endlessly patient and does a phenomenal job with her. We couldn't be happier with her care. Also, I had some concerns about a crown I have had for many years that had been brushed off by multiple other dentists, but Dr. Bob took the time to explain to me WHY it was ok and not a concern. We have been with Decatur Family Dentistry for a few years now, and have since moved almost an hour away, but will keep coming to them as long as they are in practice because they are 100% worth the drive. I truly can not say enough nice things 💛

My first experience here was Wonderful!!! Let me start by saying the staff
was very courteous and informative with a very warm welcome. I received the best cleaning that I have ever gotten and x-rays with no cardboard wing to bite on. DR.Muray was excellent!! he also did an exam and went over the x-rays explaining what they showed in details and what my options were. I left there feeling very confident that my decision to switch dentist after twenty plus years was the right decision. I would highly recommend Decatur Family Dentistry.

I am very pleased with Dr. Murav and his dentistry family! We have been his patients for over 25 years now; they are like family to us. Dr. Murav is always professional in his mannerisms and chair-side manners. I feel very comfortable as he explains exactly what he is doing as he works on my teeth. Our hygienist is very gentle and always ensures that we are comfortable with her cleaning techniques. The office staff always welcome you with a smile and pleasant tone. These ladies always try to accommodate you with the best service that fits your personal schedule. I cannot say enough good things about this dentist office. A 100% for their service and kindness!!!!

I just recently had a root canal done and I must say it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be! Dr Murav and his staff are so kind and thoughtful. He talked me through everything he was doing which made me feel more at ease. Such a wonderful calming voice. Thanks Decatur Family Dentistry for showing such awesome customer service. I went to this office for the first time regarding a crown falling off a few times from another dentists not in same town. I was very impressed with meeting the staff and both dentist . Telling me step for step what they were doing. I was very happy with what I was told and said think about your options and come back. Also the financial part of different options I never had that before. . High recommend them!

Going to the dentist is never a pleasant experience, however Dr. Murav and his staff make the experience as positive as possible. The day after I had two hours of dental surgery, I received a phone call from Dr. Murav asking my condition. He said if I had any discomfort before my next scheduled appointment, to call the office and they would get me right in. Dr. Murav explains procedures in detail, takes as much time as necessary to answer questions, and ensures the comfort of his patient. I would highly recommend Decatur Family Dentistry.

I had a dental emergency, broken tooth, Dr. Murav got me right in! Did I mention I'd never been to his office before? New patient, he got me in within an hour of my initial phone call. Sadly it had abscessed, so he did x-rays, prescribed antibiotics and I made an appointment to see him in two weeks for the extraction. I must also mention I reached my mid-forties without ever having a cavity, or a tooth pulled, I was terrified! Well yesterday was the big day... it went awesome! He and his staff were very sympathetic to my fears. And the best part? It didn't hurt at all! Even the shots to numb my mouth were relatively pain free.
I highly recommend you to give Dr. Murav and his staff a try. I'll be back in the new year to get my first check up since I was in high school, I know that this is the place to go for all my dental needs.

Best Dentist EVER! I had such terrible experiences in my past with other dentists, I dreaded going to the dentist, until Dr. Murav. Small town dentist, with big city skills. He is truly amazing!
Dr. Murav attends conferences and workshops to ensure he is up on all of the latest treatments. The dental savings plan offered through his office for those that do not have dental insurance is a great deal! If you need a dentist, Dr. Murav is your guy! Make an appointment, you will not be disappointed!

AMAZING! I have a fear of the dentist office because I have had horrible experiences prior to this and Dr. Murav and his staff are so kind and inviting! My 18-month old son loves them, too! They are great with kids. I am looking forward to starting my dental routine here from now on :)
