Doc has a great personality and all of the staff is very friendly & always happy to help. You can tell that everyone in the office genuinely loves their job & loves to care for their patients. (: So blessed that this is my dental home.

I’ve been coming here since 2004, and I’ve always been a little nervous about the dentist. Now that I’m older I can say I’ve completely overcame that fear because of Dr. Buchanan and her staff! There’s always welcoming staff from the front desk, I’ve had Kathy as a hygienist most of my life and she’s such an amazing person and hygienist! I used to fear coming in, but now I look forward to my 6 month check ups!

Best dentist and personnel I dealt from all the places I lived in Oakland, Macomb and Wayne counties. Even better than the Red Wing dentist. The personnel are friendly, cooperative, honest, and upfront on procedures. The dentist takes the time to listen and do what is necessary. I've been to two dentist in Midland that claimed work was done and unnecessary treatment billed the insurance company and had me pay an enormous amount. One doesn't get that song and dance here at Family Dental Care. I highly recommend this establishment and not to bother with any other place.

I have been a patient of dr Leblanc for many years and enjoy his hygienists and chairside ladies and dr Leblanc. since Covid and changing to lavender group I have had issues with the front desk and billing. I had an appointment on Feb 15 2022 and arrived to find out I didn’t have an appointment. She said I had a high balance and maybe I was cancelled due to that per Angie. She wanted to know what I Could pay and I advised the amount which was from my husbands appointment in January 2023 which I had been disputing the amount with Becky as there were were errors on the estimate and amount billed and also disputed prior billings from the office . It was all very embarrassing due to all the waiting patient hearing my business. She checked and said I had cancelled my appointment in oct 5 2022 which I was not aware of. I then was seen by Michelle who graciously cleaned my teeth. I checked out and was told my balance was now correct and paperwork was given. Seems alot of changes in the front office with girls in my opinion seem inexperienced. I worked many years in physicians offices and if someone had a balanced I would have said you have an outstanding balance and gone from there not saying you might not be seen due to large balance from last month. Please compare your explanation of benefits compared to their billing to make sure correct dentist is listed. Work is needed in the front desk which I heard another longtime employee was leaving.

I should add I do not think anything with billing was done fraudulently but one mistake was a wrong dentist listed in the pre estimate creating a higher amount and another was my not knowing I would be charged more upon seeing one of dr Leblanc associates and another was insurance showing I owed less than their office said

I see Liz for my regular cleanings. It’s always a pleasure. She and Dr. LeBlanc are gentle and down to earth while remaining thorough with treatments and diagnostics. The office staff is friendly too.

Update as of 2/2023: Still great service and friendly staff. Just know they still do have their Smile Program but the price did increase this year. Unsure if the cost but still a great deal for those without insurance.

Original review: Got a recommendation from the dental hygienist, Liz from this dental office. I thought I would give them a try. So far very impressed. Everyone has been very nice and polite. Honest thoughts and opinions regarding treatment. They were willing to extract two baby teeth in my daughters' mouth. My daughter has had a cleaning and they treated her very nice and allowed me in the area to observe. In addition, the extraction was handled very well and she did great.

If you do not have dental insurance they do have a in office program called Smile Club; for $300 a person gets annual x-rays, 2 dental cleanings & fluoride, discounts on other services, and some other items. It is a great deal given most dental cleanings without insurance is around $200.

Always happy with the level of service I get from Family Dental Center. I lived in Washington DC for 26 years and came back to Midland for my dental work… Now that I live here… Still very happy with the service!

Can't say enough good things about Family Dental and their service. I just got done with a root canal today and and was telling the doctor how much I enjoyed coming to the dentist. And I don't even use the gas😎
