I did not have a good experience and no matter what dentist I go to in the future I will check with my insurance on what I should/should not be billed for. Be careful signing up for Care Credit - there is good and bad associated with that. I will also always get a second opinion and not just trust what I’m being told is necessary. BIG learning experience.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Makela and the entire staff! I went to several dentists in the area to begin very extensive dental work. After my first visit nearly 3 years ago, I knew I finally found the right team! I was so uneasy, and filled with anxiety about any dental procedure, they made sure I was always comfortable, and at ease.
Every step of the program was carefully planned out, fully explained and executed with perfection.
Anytime I had an emergency, or questions, they were available at all times.
I could not be happier with how everything has went! HIGHLY recommend!!

They even fit me in for an appointment during spring break, which is notoriously a busy time for them. The receptionists have been absolute joys as well. I have nothing bad to say about them!

That being said...everyone in the office makes you feel comfortable and does what they can to ease any stress you may have. They are personable when talking with you and assure you that you come first during any procedure you may be having done. Would I recommend Dr. Makela and his staff....absolutely.
