I went to this clinic for a filling in my tooth 31. After test Dr. James told me both my teeth 30 and 31 were dead (no anesthesia at all indicated they are dead). But he still opened my tooth 30 WITHOUT my permission to start root canal therapy. My teeth 30 does not hurt at all, so it is definitely not a life-threatening issue needing therapy right away. I believe he did this because of money since starting root canal therapy means $1,200 for the therapy plus $230 core building up and $1,200 crown fee, which added up to $2,680. And this $2,680 is not treating my health threat teeth.
I went to this clinic for my tooth 31 with a hole and without hurt. But he treated my teeth 30 for getting more money.

“Dr.” Chang is the worst dentist I have ever been to. He used to prescribe my father pain kills knowing he was an addict and would falsify insurance claims to get more money in exchange for a script. When I was old enough to go elsewhere I had to fight my insure to get cavities filled because he claimed they were pulled.

Very professional team, friendly staff. Everyone goes out of their way to help in any issue their patients come in with. I would recommend them to anyone seeking a dentist they can trust and feel comfortable seeing.

I was in need of emergency care, they gave me a cancelled appointment, provided the care, all same day. The doctor and the staff treated me with respect and were so friendly. I had a tooth extraction, the most painless one ever. My new dentist for me and my kids!

This is THE WORST dentist I have EVER seen in my life. It’s truly awful. Everytime I would get a filling, bt the time I left the office, it had already came out. Unlike previous filling, the ones Dr. Chang did were completely rigid and sharp, and lasted less than 24hrs. He put a crown on and the color didn’t match, it was too big and bulking, not to mention the fact that it was so ugly. It looked awful. I never write reviews but now that I have a new dentist who is having to fix everything that dentist touched in my mouth, I can’t refrain myself from writing this. Dr. Chang is a awful “Dentist”. His assistant, Judy is nice and probably knows more than him. His son is also a way better dentist but I still do NOT recommend this office at ALL. Worst place in the county, maybe even the state. Shut this place down! Wish I could give 0 stars.

Every time I go in, Dr. Chang’s son either breaks one of my teeth while cleaning, or always suggest on pulling one out when there is absolutely nothing wrong with them. I’ve spent thousands on my teeth, and in one cleaning he ruined my whole top row. Negative a million rating if I could. And yes, the fillings NEVER LAST!

If it was up to me , I wouldn't even rate it one star. The dentist is by far one of the worst dentist to go to IN OAKLAND COUNTY. I would not recommend him to anyone!!!!
