Van Timmeren Family Dentistry PC

Three weeks before my son’s wedding which would take place out of state, I tripped and fell down my basement stairs and landed on the concrete floor, resulting in a fractured radial bone, a bloody chin and two shattered FRONT TEETH veneers!
I will always remember the response from Van Timmeren Dentistry PC! I made an emergency call from the hospital on Friday and on Monday, I received a call from the office to schedule an appointment.
I was a mess with a fractured arm, swollen, bruised face, stitches in my chin and broken front teeth! As soon as I walked into the office, I felt like I was met by a trauma team! They moved quickly, appointments were scheduled to remove the remaining jagged veneer pieces and to create temporary veneers. Veneer images were sent to the lab and magically, three days before the wedding, my perfectly shaped porcelain teeth were in!
I was thrilled to be able to smile with confidence and excitement as I traveled out of state to my son’s wedding.
I can’t say enough about Van Timmeren Dentistry PC! I’d give them 10 stars if I could!

After visiting multiple dentists in the Wyoming Grandville area I finally found Van timmerman family dentistry. They truly are a gem in the GR area as far as dentists go.

I have a unique situation with my teeth as I have had jaw surgery in the past and they are very kind and understanding of my situation and surely all of their patients. Thank you Scott and Jenifer for everything that you do. You both are amazing!

Dr. S. Van Timmeren and his staff are excellent! He always explains what he doing and why. He is attuned to the patient. He is patient with my countless questions. Recently, I needed to reschedule my visit because of child care needs. However, the staff encouraged me to bring my 16m old. Namely, Amanda was great. She played with and entertained my son during my visit. The receptionist, and the dental assistants all seems to really enjoy their jobs. They’re engaging and friendly. Also, Dr. Van Timmeren is focused on my health and not just making money( he told my that a replacement crown was not needed, which another dentist insisted on, X-ray supported Dr. V’s advice). Highly recommended!

My 4 1/2 year old had to get a small filling. Dr Jennifer and her assistant made it an awesome experience! My son is sensitive to loud noise, but they have a pretty great system down for working with kids. She was patient and efficient at getting the job done with the small windows my son would allow. :)

I have been with this practice from when it was previously run by Dr. Texer. Dr. Van Timmeren has continued to provide excellent service, and with the new location, has brought it a very modern touch.

I was recently changed office, my last office wasn't a good experience, a co-worker recommended this office and was sincerely the best decision. They didn't made me wait lots of time for my appointment, all employees were so nice and polite. Doctor Van Timmeren made me feel secure and comfortable, made sure all my questions if any were answered and went step by step in regards to my visit. Definetly recommend this place.

I've had this dentist for over 10 now and the doctor and staff are great. I could not think of going anywhere else. There professional as well as sensitive about my needs and they have a great sense of humor that relaxes you, they also make it painless as possible which is awesome they do a great job. Thanks to every one at this office.

I am a current patient of Drs. VanTimmeren and just love this place. I had an emergency with a cracked crown yesterday and the staff was very accommodating in finding an opportunity for me to come in less than three hours. After assessing my situation, Dr. Scott, removed the broken piece that had cracked away, then smoothed the sharp edges so that I could safely function. He explained fully the situation, the options of how he could repair the damage! This is a very accommodating, kind, compassionate dental office a while being 100% professional in their care! Top notch, state of the art, excellent family dentistry!

Not a very understanding office, they drop you as patients instead of working with you when you have demanding and changing work schedules and deaths in the family. It is hard for a teacher to get out of class when students are in need of his help. I also think most people can not remember what day it is let alone an appointment when you lose a loved one. My friends and remaining family members have decided to look else where for there dental work as well. They sent us a letter “terminating the doctor-patient relationship” not a phone call!!

My family switched to Dr. VanTimmeren about a year ago because I heard from several people that his office is wonderful with small children. I'm so happy that we made the switch to his practice because the staff is not only extremely friendly, but they do a great job at educating patients on their oral health. The new office is very nice and the location is great for my family. I've always been able to get right in without any waiting, which makes lunch break appointments accommodating.
