After many years of dental neglect I had to have some serious work done. (Tooth extraction and Root Canal) After reading through some reviews Round Lake seemed like a great fit. The staff are all very caring and courteous. Dr. Zahn and his staff were continually checked up on me to ensure I was doing okay. Painless and efficient. Highly recommend!

Me an my family just switched to round lake dental an by far hands down amazing super great Dr an staff very down to earth feels like u have know them all for many years extremely kind caring an great service I'm a talker an it's extremely nice to know that you feel like u have know them for years instead of your typical stuffy conversation u normally have at dentist or Dr appointments some of my family members extremely struggle with dentist visits an to see them comfort my family members an then they come home an say it was not bad at all is a huge win we have struggled to find a good dentist for a long time an have always had bad luck with dentist that caused some members to be afraid of dentist sure is nice to know we now have a dentist we can trust an really enjoy

I have gone there three times and two out of three had issues. Seems they care about payment more then patients. I sat in the chair near to a hour waiting for them to check my insurance. Ended up I left without anything being done. They were still on the phone when I left. They said they would call me back and they never did I had to call them. Then I got a excuse that they got a new system and one of my insurances didn't transfer over. On my last visit I had to pay out of pocket but I had no idea they didn't have both insurances they didn't even check. I guess what I'm saying they are very inconsistent and they care more about money

The staff here are super caring and accommodating. I think there is a lot of turn over with the dental assistants though.
I need to add that being caring doesn't equate to being skilled, however.
Maybe we're the odd ones out of the bunch but my husband and I still have post procedure pain.
I went for 2 crowns and 3 cavities. My teeth that had the cavities done, still feel gritty all around. Like they are covered in sand paper. The crowns are smooth, lack texture underneath, and are too long on the sides. I think the assistant did the molds wrong or they are just cheap quality. My previous crowns from a different dentist are much better.
Originally, a crown was advised as I was having sensitivity to cold and hot on that tooth. Now, I have constant pain in that tooth after the temporary and the permanent crown. Dr. Zhang advised a root canal thru the crown but would charge me. My pain is worse now than before and since I relocated to San Diego, I will have to find a new dentist to fix this issue.
I wish I would have been given novacaine for the permanent placement. That part was so painful, I almost cried from frustration. I've birthed 2 kids with no meds and this hurt more than that.
My husband's jaw continues to hurt 3 weeks after his crown. This situation is just all around awful.
I hate to leave bad reviews for health care providers, as I am one, but I would not recommend this office for dental care based on our experiences.

I highly recommend Round Lake Dental for the wonderful care they have given to me for all my dental care. In the last two years, I have had two terribly infected teeth that Dr. Zahn took care of right away doing root canals and crowns.He saved both teeth with his great expertise and care. Also, Dr. Zahn and staff are wonderful, friendly and caring!

The doctors and staff are top notch, very professional and knowledgeable. I have been a patient for more than ten years and have never been disappointed. The hygienists actually remember you and your family. The later appointments are very much appreciated.

I've had many crowns (6) put in by Dr. Zhan and they've all been great! He's a perfectionist, which is a definite quality you want in your dentist. I've also been getting three cleanings each year to keep my gum disease under control and they've been doing a great job staying on top of it to prevent more problems. If you want a great dentist with a great staff, go to Round Lake Dental!

This is absolutely the place you want to go for all your dental needs. I have had very good experiences with working with everyone at Round Lake Dental. I used to have a lot of fear around going to the dentist in the past. Coming here has changed all that. The dentists here are really great. They listen to you and explain everything well. I no longer have dentist anxiety because of them. When I had a dental emergency the ladies in the office went over and beyond to help me out. I really think they might have saved my life. You will be glad you chose Round Lake Dental.
