Monica at the front desk is amazing. She went above and beyond to get me squeezed in for a dental issue and then continued following up with me even after I was referred on to a specialist. Both Dr. Proeschel and Dr. Zahn are caring and compassionate and truly want to make sure you are comfortable. Thank you all for getting me through this!!

I just had a crown procedure. I am not very brave when it comes to dentists, but Dr. Zahn and dental assistant, Kelly, did a magnificent job keeping me calm. Dr. Zahn was very gentle and thorough. Even though I miss Dr. Swenson since he retired, I have been very impressed with the care that Dr. Zahn has provided. Thank You!

The staff is top notch!! You are not just a number at Round Lake Dental. From front desk to the Doctors to the assistants and the hygienists, they all explains everything thoroughly, always have what I am going to owe before treatment is started so I am not surprised later on, very welcoming. They make you feel comfortable in such an uncomfortable kinda situation. Check them out!! Dare ya :)

I recently came back from college and decided to go back to my original dentist at Round Lake Dental, and I am so glad I did. The entire staff treats you with exceptional care, friendliness and professionalism. I have had my fair share of dental work in the past years and can confidentially say the staff of RLD has been the best. Highly reccomend for all forms of dental work and ages.

I would not recommend going to Round Lake Dental unless you enjoy being manipulated and up-charged for routine exams and cleanings. Let me explain. The dentist I used before moving would have me request an extra 15 min time to have a little extra time when having my routine cleanings to use the descaler.
Out of courtesy, I wanted to continue this practice when starting with a new dentist. The receptionist contacted me later that week to get my insurance information. She was going to check if my insurance would cover a “Deep Cleaning.” I questioned this, why is this not a routine cleaning? The receptionist then asked if my prior dentist put me to sleep for my cleanings. I said, “No, my previous dentist just asked me to remind them so they could schedule a little extra time to use the descaler.” The receptionist said that there was some confusion, the cleaning should not be a problem, so I scheduled an appointment.
On the day of my appointment, Kym, the hygienist, did my x-rays and sat my chair up because she would not do the cleaning today. Kym explained I would need to make another appointment for deep cleaning. Just like they wanted to do before ever seeing my teeth! There was NO way I would do any more business with Round Lake Dental.
Doing Business with Round Lake Dental cost me 3 hours of my workday, and I genuinely feel they used deceptive business practices. Shame on you, Round Lake Dental!

They got me in right away for an urgent problem. That hasn’t been my experience with other dentists.
I have been going to Round Lake Dental for many years and they have always been friendly and professional and respectful of my dental and financial ups and downs.

my husband, my 3 year old daughter and my self went here for 6 months. They were SO respectful. It had been 13+ years since we had been to a dentist. (My self? I get MAJOR anxiety when it comes to the dentist!) and they made me feel very comfortable!
Unfortunatly, they decided not to deal with Delta Dental anymore. They still accept delta but they ask that you pay for everything UP FRONT, and then you wait for delta to send you a reimbursement check. No thanks. I can't afford that.
If they didn't do that? I would have stayed!

In 2018 my husband and I were very saddened to hear that Dr. Swenson was leaving his practice to retire. He'd been our dentist for many years and helped us through some trying times with his compassion and sense of humor. We were apprehensive about seeing a new dentist, as I'm sure that all his old patients were.
In December of '18 I had an appointment to have my teeth cleaned and examined. I was thrilled to see all of the old staff there. They are all friendly and when you walk in the door you are always greeted with a warm hello, and called by your first name. That's so nice.
I met the new Dr. working that day, Dr. Zhan. He welcomed me back, and assured me that he would take good care of me, no matter how anxious I was about the "visit to the dentist".
In January I had an appointment with Dr. Zhan to have some repair work done, and it was a comfortable visit. He was very kind and patient. I was apprehensive, but my fears subsided after that visit, and will continue to go to Round Lake Dental, as always.
In the meantime, I discussed my husband's dental issues with Kim and the girl's at the front desk. He currently had no dental insurance at the time, and they were helpful with options that he might pursue. The following week a note arrived at the house from Round Lake informing us of an in-house dental plan they thought my husband might consider. They were very helpful in answering questions regarding financial options and different treatments.
I can't say enough good things about Round Lake Dental and all the staff there. In April I will go again and meet Dr. Proeschel for the first time. I'm sure the visit will be a good one. Thank you to all who take such good care of us when it comes to our Dental Health.
