I have been going here for a couple of years now. As someone who has had really bad experiences in the past, I have always been skeptical of dentists. With that said, this place is truly wonderful! I have never had a bad experience while going here. All the staff are super friendly. They never once made me feel bad about not going for years before I found this place and work with me to accommodate my crazy schedule. If you are looking for a laid back, no pressure place, that also offers affordable payment plans for the great care you are sure to get, this is the place!

Do not go to this clinic. At a recent visit to Columbia Heights Dentistry for a routine checkup the male dentist identifying as “Muslim” was continually flirting heavily throughout the entire visit. His behavior was very unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. This caused feelings of vulnerability and was very uncomfortable while in his care. I advise anyone considering to visit this clinic to go elsewhere especially if you are a young female.

The entire staff was extremely helpful and professional, especially Brandy, who sculpted me crown to perfection!!

They also worked me because I don't have dental insurance.

I hadn't visited the dentist is almost 2 years but there was no judgement. They were efficient, smart, and super friendly. Dr. KulenKamp was gentle and energetic while talking with me. I was scared of what I'd hear after my extended time without a dentist visit but nothing of the sort ever happened. Someone came to discuss the payment options after my initial exam and after I said I didn't want to get my cavities filled that day there was no pushing or comments. I highly recommend them.

I have awful, awful dental anxiety but was referred here anyway.

Upon arrival, Amanda took great care getting me checked in. Brandy was quick, courteous, and professional, moving quick through the xray and pictures. They seated me quickly while Dr. Forbes and I discussed a few issues and treatment plans, then they went right to it.

Dr. Forbes was incredible, working in an extremely gentle and patient way to ease my anxiety and my mind. My procedure was as simple as you could ask for. I felt no pain the entire time. Consistently Brandy and Dr. Forbes told me what they were doing, and assured me everything was ok and that I was doing just fine. Afterwords, Elizabeth sat down with me and reviewed my insurance and payment options.

After dealing with debilitating anxiety visiting the dentist for literally years, I no longer feel any apprehension visiting them. In fact, I'm looking forward to going back Saturday to finish up my procedure. Take it from a guy who used to be terrified: there is nothing to fear here at Columbia Heights Dentistry. They treat you like family and are the utmost, consummate professionals.

A great clinic, service and a great dentist, for more than 2 months of a horrific pain in my tooth waking me up every night and checking with different clinics without any improve a friend of me suggested this clinic, I booked with Dr Ahmed Yousef. A smiley, nice and a kind dentist. Immediately he diagnosed my pain and in less than one hour working on my tooth all my pain and suffering has gone and I have started having good night sleeping again, thanks a lot to Dr Ahmed Yousef. I used to think this place had great service and was worth the prices they had. Today, I finally went in after a year to get a full cleaning because I thought it would be as good as before, but once I got there, they barely did anything for my teeth. I wanted them to focus on cleaning between my teeth, but they didn’t even touch those areas that I needed. It only took 15 minutes and when I saw the results, I was angry. My teeth looked the same and when I asked why, they tried telling me that they couldn’t do the process like before because they wanted to reduce exposure. I don’t even know what that meant. They never told me anything about the new changes and did a terrible job on my teeth. I am not sure about others, but as a person of color, I don’t feel like I was given the same amount of attention as the rest of the patients. Everyone else left happy while I left unsatisfied. They STILL made me pay $225 for a job that wasn’t done well. I am very upset with them and I don’t ever plan on coming back. If you are a person of color, be careful when you go to their building and make sure that they will do the right thing beforehand. Don’t waste your money or time like I did!

I am nervous going to the dentist but having Joni work on my teeth I feel super comfortable and the process is thourough and painless. Takes all of my stress away. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended this dentist.

My experience was great from beginning to end. To start the front end staff was caring and helpful and did a great job welcoming me and getting things started. After a short lobby wait filling out paperwork the doctor himself came out and toured me around the office! Once things got started each and every staffer was polite, jovial, and good-spirited. The staff made sure to check in and assure my comfort and relaxation. When there was a wait the doctor and other hygienists made sure to check in with me to make sure I was still comfortable. Most admirable was the absolute top notch dental work that was done. I highly recommend this place! Well done Dr. Moldonado-ortiz and staff.
