Denise, the hygienist was as wonderful as the last time. She really does a thorough job, is professional and friendly, and answers all my questions. Really, really top notch work!
I saw Dr. Kaplan (my spelling may be incorrect) during this visit. She was also fantastic! Unlike my last visit, she spent time doing a thorough exam, discussed my concerns, provided a referral, and consulted with Denise and myself about my care options. Great dentist!
If my previous visit had been my first to this clinic, it might have been my last (the dentist seemed really rushed). But after this recent visit, I remember why I've been a patient at Metro for at least 15 years. An excellent experience is the normal at Metro, my less-than-perfect previous visit was an exception

Most of their hygienists quite during the pandemic. And they refused me service because I don't have the right insurance. I'm sorry that I fell on hard times...
I was a patient for 20 years. My insurance changed, and they refused to give me an appointment. Do not think they care about you. They care about money. Which I understand, they are a business. But when a company drops a twenty year client who's experiencing hard times. Not great.
There's a reason they have such a low rating.
I highly recommend their hygienists. Most of which quit during the pandemic. So good luck getting a good one.
They do have some good doctors, but they also have the worst one I've ever had the displeasure of meeting (Lugo Esteban is a terrible doctor. . . really dude, quit your job. You suck in every way that matters. You're rushed, inconsiderate, and you ignored my concerns. My hygienist literally had to chase you down in the hallway to answer a simple question. You failed.)
If you have to use Metro Dental Care, their people do good work, but if you have a choice, go elswhere.

I was in to have my chipped front tooth fixed. It chipped less than two weeks after having it done by Dr Lugo. With insurance it was 120.00. My thought us that it should have been fixed for free but Dr Lugo would not.
