McLean Family Dental

I had a molar crack last week and needed a crown. Dr. McLean got me into the clinic, same day, so he could shave cracked sharp edges which were cutting my tongue. I then scheduled the appointment for the crown which was completed this afternoon. Lori suggested the use of audible distractions for calming through dental work. So, I brought a meditation which was grounding and sounded like a cathedral of music (and will definitely use again!). Lori's personality is upbeat and engaging. Dr. McLean was efficient, competent, caring about comfort and letting me know what he was doing. It was my first experience with getting a CEREC (same day crown). Overall, it was an awesome experience to be calm and in good hands.

Dr. McLean is awesome! I went in for my first root canal with quite a bit of anxiety and I had nothing to worry about! Dr. McLean was always making sure I was feeling okay and was very thorough about explaining what he was doing and how everything was going, very reassuring to say the least! I will be going back for EVERY procedure going forward! Best dentist in Delano by far!

My last appointment was the worst dental existence I’ve ever had. Extreme nerve pain during a filling and even though I told them about it they kept drilling. Also they found “cavities” that did not exist. Don’t go here.

Dr Ellen Vander Heyden is the worst dentist I’ve ever experienced.

I had never been to McLean Family Dental before today. The first thing I noticed was the warm reception the front office people gave me. They wanted to know how I was doing today. Next, was my dental hygienist Andrea. She was great!!! I know they have to pick your gums and scrape your teeth, but she was very gentle and always asked how I was doing through out the process. Finally the dental exam by Dr. Ellen . I can now understand how they can see the smallest things wrong with your teeth and gums. The tools she used is like a microscope with a very bright led light. And once again, she like the rest of the team, ask me how I was doing. So, this is where I will be going to, not only for my dental work, but to feel good for the rest of the day because they all cared enough to ask how are you doing? Thank you for caring!!! They must be good!! Cause they so busy they turned me down. Referred me to a new dentist office in Buffalo. I hung up in disbelief of the conversation that just took place...

I have had my teeth taken care of at McLean Family Dental for several years now. Andrea, the dental hygienist I see, is delightful. She has a great memory and will ask me about things I have talked about on previous visits. She is always positive and cheerful. Dr. Vander-Heyden is thorough in her exams and instills trust. She has a calming demeanor that puts you at ease. I will not be going anywhere else for my dental care.

The idea of going to the dentist has never been one of those top ten experiences that I would typically look forward to - however, going to McLean Family Dental is always so enjoyable - really! It begins with Lori's warm welcome and efficiency at the front desk. Then there's Lora's incredible proficient and meticulous work as hygienist (someone who I have had total trust in for a couple of decades now). And then meeting, for the first time, Dr. Ellen who I was very impressed with for her extremely thorough exam and pleasant manner. It's just a terrific team that gives a visit to the dentist a whole new perspective. McLean Family Dental rocks!

I was very pleased with my first visit to McLean Dental. The warm greeting I received when I arrived put me at ease. The dental hygienist was wonderful. She and I just seemed to connect. It was great to meet Dr. McLean. The exam he did was thorough.
For anyone needing a new dentist or looking to change, I would highly recommend McLean Dental!

I started using them after.moving to the area in 2016 and have been in for two six month cleaning, and just got a night guard and filling. Dr. McClean is very friendly and kept checking in on me throughout the procedure and his Hygienist (sorry can't remember her name) is also very down to earth and pleasant. I was in and out in 30 minutes for the filling and they are.more than willing to contact your insurance before doing anything to let you know about what cost Will be. I highly recommend them. Thanks for making my smile amazing :)

I had a great first visit with McLean Family Dental! All staff were warm and welcoming. Roxanne did a thorough and efficient job at cleaning my teeth, and they feel great! I'm happy to report no cavities :) I appreciated Dr. McLean making space for me to ask any questions I had. Great to meet you all!
