Dr. Conry and all the staff at Kara Conry Dentistry have been amazing from day one! I have been going to this clinic since it opened and continue to even after I moved away from Duluth.
What appeals to me most is that they care deeply about the patient’s comfort and are focused on prevention. Dr. Conry is current on research and treatment methods and is using innovative and advanced products and equipment. The clinic is modern and beautifully decorated— it doesn’t feel like a dentist’s office!

Zero stars. Very unprofessional, my wife had an emergency and the wouldn’t take her until several days later. We finally were able make an appointment and had to wait several days. An hour before the appointment they sent a text saying that the are canceling because of an “emergency”.
We were having an emergency for several days but wouldn’t fit us in. We reached out to the dentist and he was very short and unhelpful, refused to help my wife even when she had told him several times that the ER said she needed and emergency extraction right away. He was very unprofessional and rude.
She hasn’t been able to eat for a week, and all of her wisdom teeth are coming in at once. After they called to cancel they said they could take her in a month and half. Very unimpressed. I don’t like putting bad reviews but this one calls for it

I absolutely HATE the dentist and teeth. I put off going to the dentist for almost 10 years until I started having pretty bad tooth pain and couldn’t put it off anymore. I had so much anxiety I almost didn’t even go to the appt.
I had called every dentist in the area that took my insurance, explained to them that I was SUPER anxious about the whole dentist experience and asked what my options were for medication/laughing gas/whatever. Every other dentist office basically blew me off and said if it wasn’t a serious procedure I “would be fine” EXCEPT for Dr. Conry’s office. The receptionist was so helpful, and I was able to make an appointment for an exam within two weeks, and she reassured me that I was in good hands.
At my initial appointment, Dr. Conry and everyone else at the office were so welcoming and completely eased my anxiety. They explained everything step by step and didn’t make me feel any guilt or shame for avoiding the dentist for so long.
I needed a pretty bad cavity filled, and Dr. Conry was very open about my options and what potential outcomes might be (future root canal, crown, possibility of infection, etc). The filling process was a total 10/10. No pain during the process, filling looks and feels great.
In the past, I’ve left the dentist in tears, but this time I was happy and smiling. It sounds hilarious to me, but I’m actually EXCITED to go to my cleaning later this month!
