I return again & again for what I experienced today - I am welcomed & it feels good to be called by name when I arrive. The care I received from Deb & Dr Healey is carried on in a very welcoming atmosphere, my questions are honored & I leave feeling good that I was there. That is why I have been coming for 40 years. The attention to detail from the Hygienists is the best I've ever seen. You can tell the effort they place on maintaining a high standard of care by the consistency of that care. I pay extra out-of-pocket due to out-of-network just to go to Southdale Dental.

I went there to get my teeth cleaned, which of course was covered by my insurance. They advised me to get my teeth cleaned in 2 sessions, and I agreed to it. After my first session was done, they gave me a bill of around $630. When I told them that this should be sent to my insurance company, they told me this is a very "special" kind of cleaning and this is not covered. I only took an appointment for regular teeth cleansing, but of course they had to add something extra to make more bucks.
Needless to say I cancelled my second session.
Be-aware of this place. Make sure you ask them whats covered and whats not. They will trick you otherwise

What a great experience. It's never 'fun' to go the dentist but this was a perfect experience start to finish. Friendly staff, supper efficient, beautiful and clean environment. Sara is a great dental hygienist.

I love the staff here. Dr. Sundet is so warm and welcoming and non-judgemental. I feel relaxed the moment I walk in the door. Dr. Sundet is clearly well educated and on the front-line of dental technology. As the president of the MN Dental Society, she's on-top of the most recent tech and studies in the field (check out her linked-in if you're looking for a top-rate, well educated and Dentist that has a passion for education).
My son came in for his first check up as soon as he got his first teeth (about 8 months). Dr. Sundet got on the floor with him and showed me how I can make brushing feasible and fun with a younger-than- one kiddo. Now he let's me floss (she definitely went above-and-beyond to educate me, a new mom)!
The hygienists are also so warm. We usually see Dee Dee or Anne and love them both. I think my kiddo will continue to love to come back!
