The receptionist and dentist were very pleasant and professional. I got had an emergency appointment for an aching cracked tooth thinking that it would need to be pulled. They administered x-rays and an examination. The dentist was unsure whether it was salvageable, or needed extraction and set up appointment with an endodontist. The cost was $200. I went to the endodontist and was given the same exam and x-rays (I don't know why they couldn't share the previous x-rays. He worked on the tooth and surmised it needed extraction. He stabilized it so it didn't hurt. The cost was $520 and I still had my bad tooth. I don't know why he didn't pull it. I went back to my original dentist and to get it extracted. He would not pull it until I had a complete exam of my whole mouth so "we" could come up with a "plan." I had the exam, another $220 and still had my bad tooth. I said "please just pull my tooth." He said that Valley Dental had a dentist that specialized in tooth extraction but he was busy. I got an appointment two weeks out. They quoted a cost of $620 for an extraction. I thought this was exorbitant. Since I was going on a trip to Izmir, Turkey I had the tooth pulled there, for $50! Two days ago I broke a tooth and made an appointment at Valley dental to have it worked on. They took an x-ray and said the dentist would give me an exam but he didn't have time to work on it. I thanked them, paid for the x-ray and left before the exam. They may be very good at dental work, but I don't know; I've only had exams, exams, exams and $, $, $ without any actual tooth work conducted.

An extremely calming staff. I have gone for an exam, a cleaning and cavity filling, and wisdom teeth extraction. I was nervous on my first visit, after avoiding the dentist for years, but I felt no shame or pain and felt nothing but care and comfort. After my wisdom teeth procedure, they provided great after care. Highly recommend for someone who is nervous to return to the dentist.

Your oral health is important to Valley Dental Group. They are a family of doctors that take care of my family. Everyone in my family has a different favorite. Tammy my hygienist was kind and thorough. I request Dr. Evensen for each exam because he is very calming. They have a good central location in Golden Valley. I like the discount offered if I pay my share at the visit; they bill my insurance.

Shout out to Dr. Sandy Fenske, who has taken such awesome care of my whole family for many years. She Has awesome “chairside manner” And does comfortable, awesome work whenever and only when it is needed. Wish I could say I was as good as patient as she is a dentist! 😃

Great staff and doctors. I have been a patient of Valley Dental for over 40 years and if I didn't think I was getting excellent care I would have moved to another dental group. The staff and doctors are friendly and knowledgeable and it is a very comfortable environment.

Jessica my hygienist was great. She was very friendly and did a thorough job of cleaning my teeth and taking x-rays. My normal dentist wasn't in that day so I had to go with a different one. However, he was quite friendly and was thorough in his examination. Both the dentist and hygienist did not push any unnecessary procedures on me. My appointment was supposed to be at 8:00 am but I was not taken in until 8:20 am. In the future I would recommend trying to adhere to appointment times since we all lead busy scheduled lives.

I really love the staff here! Everyone is wonderful, particularly Dr. Jordan and Nancy, the hygienist, and I always recommend Valley Dental Group anytime a friend mentions they are looking for a new dentist. I was stuck in traffic and showed up 15 minutes late for my last visit and they were still able to work me in and get me out the door on time. Not many people enjoy going to the dentist, but my experiences here have always been positive and pain-free.

Dr. Marin Parsons and her team are wonderful! Dr. Marin eased my dental anxiety and made me feel so comfortable throughout my visit. She explained everything very well so I could actually understand what I needed taken care of! She is easy to talk to about any of my dental problems. Very gentle dentist, I am definitely recommending her to all of my friends!!

I've been coming to Valley Dental Group for close to 10 years and have been Dr Fenske for most of that time. My husband and 2 daughters see her as well. We love her! We also love all of the hygienists that we have worked with. I am a big baby when it comes to dental work and they were totally willing to work with me. They are great with kids too!

I have never in my life been to a more welcoming, peaceful, and helpful environment when it comes to dental. Having HIGH anxiety when it comes to "all things dental", they were extremely compassionate, informative, and understood the anxiety. Anywhere from talking about treatment plans to taking an x-ray, they were informative, kind, and very helpful.
