Terrible customer service. I called the receptionist to schedule an appointment because I had teeth pain. She said that they are not accepting new patients (which is okay), I told her they were the only dentists covered by my insurance and she just did not want to listen to anything I had to say. She shoowed me away and told me to just call another dentist that is out of my network and she hung up the phone on me while I was talking with her. When they do start accepting new patients, I will not go there. I knew there was nothing she could do since they were not accepting new patients, but the attitude and the hanging up the phone on the potential new customer was very unprofessional. When they do start accepting new patients, I will still not go there due to the very inappropriate service that I received.

funny said i missed to many apt refused to see me i have not had a scheduled apt in over 1.5 years that they speak of and have not been seen in almost 2 years there. I recently missed one last week and they refused to reschedule. I was loyal my kids liked him. Staff was a different story one time they gave my daughter to much laughing gas and she passed out on the table while he was working had to monitor her after and give her oxygen to wake her up. Scared me half to dealth. But i stayed loyal till this bs. Said i missed apt that was scheduled last year. um i know i didnt schedule them. but their loss. but i wont be recommending this office and will find another dentist my kids as well.

My husband and I both had fillings done, and when we went to a different dentist, we were told all the fillings they did were done wrong and we now need to pay $1,000 to have these fillings redone. We decided we didnt want to go there after they charged us a fee because my son wouldnt cooperate, instead of just not doing the cleaning, they pushed it causing him to start crying and screaming. Scheduling staff are very pushy, and rude about if you need to reschedule appointments. I will never go back to Northland Dental.

It has taken me far too long to get on insurance that a dentist in the area I am in will finally take. I was excited to setup an appointment as my teeth have been in serious pain for some months now.
First time was my error. I brought in the wrong insurance card. And then come to find out there was some kind of paperwork thing at my wife's job so we ended up having to wait for the birth of my daughter some months later to fix it.
Finally fix it, get me on properly. I try to make an appointment only to be told I needed to make sure I was in the specific group of the insurance plan that they accepted. My wife called, gave them the information they wanted and finally I get my appointment months later.
Then three days before the appointment she gets a call that they are cancelling my appointment because apparently I am still listed as receiving the BlueCross plan which they (or no other dentist for that matter) will accept new patients with.
My wife tried to explain that we have moved several times and thought we had ended our enrollment already. And that I was indeed on her healthcare plan which was in the specific group they accepted. She was told there was nothing they could do and cancelled my appointment anyway.
So here I sit, in immense pain, trying to figure out how to cancel an insurance I literally never could use for dental because there doesn't seem to be a dentist in the state accepting new patients with it. Anyway, how is insurance I thought I had cancelled somehow keeping me from getting my teeth done ffs!
They did not make this process easier, only more complicated. They were mostly polite but completely unwilling to work with us in any capacity. In fact, it began to feel like they were just trying to avoid a problem rather than help a potential patient.
So bully for you! I'll go be someone else's problem!

They insist on taking they’re own X-rays even when I told them my previous dentist had ones they could send over from less than a year ago. Then sent me a bill for the X-rays and I didn’t even have any work done! Basically scammed me out my insurance money for something they didn’t even need to do.
