Absolutely the best!

Everyone involved from making an appointment (Jeffery), treatment planning, billing, checking in, checking out, and perhaps most importantly the dental student (Payton) was efficient, courteous, and caring.

The facility can be easily accessed by light rail, and a connected parking structure if you want to drive. I won’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who needs quality dental care.

But keep in mind that it will take more time during each visit and more total visits than in private practice because the dental students are still going through training. In return of increased investment of your time, you get a thorough care and spend less than in private practice.

My student dentist, Ella, has done a great job.

She's knowledgeable, professional and she truly seems to care about the health of my teeth.

She asks me lots of questions and explains the procedures she can and has taken with my teeth very well. Hence, I feel very safe and fortunate to have her working on my teeth.

Beyond my student dentist, I've also found it encouraging to have Ella's U of M superiors consult with her (and me) throughout my appointment. The mere presence of her superiors helps me to feel extra support and care. More importantly, their presence helps me to trust my student dentist even more, because when they are there Ican see the amount of respect Ella has for them and the advice and suggestions they give her with regards her work on my teeth.

These students really know what they're doing! Very thorough and considerate of how you're feeling with the process!

I first came to the U of M for orthodontics but ended up going to grad perio AND oral surgery, as well. All three departments have been outstanding!!!

As for the orange group, is been great for me. In fact, I'm so impressed with my dentist/student (Amanda K) that I hope to follow her into the private sector!

I am so grateful for the U of MN school of dentistry and the outstanding care I have received over the past 2 years as one of their dental patients.

I have had a mix of good and bad dental experiences with other providers over the years, and it lead me to have quite a bit of hesitation to schedule dental work.

I feel like the talented and welcoming student dentists, along with their experienced instructors, have not only done an outstanding job of helping me meet my dental goals, they have “cured” my of my “Dentist Anxiety”.

I highly recommend trying out the school of dentistry. It is high quality care, in a warm and relaxing environment, at a fraction of the cost of other dental providers.

I would like to especially thank Colton for his attention to detail, for always being willing to answer my questions, and his patient centered approach during appointments.

I had a very pleasant experience at the University of Minnesota Dental School. The staff was compassionate, thorough and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain each procedure performed. I deeply appreciated their expertise. I would highly recommend their services to anyone.

I couldn’t be happier with the experience I’ve had so far with the clinic. I have a lot of work that I need done, involving multiple visits and Grant has been awesome to work with. He has made me feel completely comfortable, not only physically but talked me through everything that he was doing. I am so grateful!!! 🙏🏻

What can I say? You are not passed through as rapidly as at other dentists, but because of that, you also get more detailed and precise work, and the benefit of the instructors’ experience when one has weird stuff going on. Like 40-50 year old fillings! And weirdly cracked molars. Which were repaired in a way the regular dentist was very reluctant to, or possibly couldn’t do.

I have been coming to the university for dental work for many many years. I always have a positive experience and get the best dental work possible. The students and the staff are all remarkable. I always have told people that if they want good dental work it might take a little bit longer but they'll get the best possible at the University

I've been going to the University dental clinic since 1995 and have always been impressed by the superior quality of care I receive. This school maintains the reputation it has earned as the best dental school in the world. I'd recommend them to anyone with teeth.

After dealing with not being able to get an appointment less than 9 months out and needing a lot of work done but only being able to get one thing done at a time and then having to wait another several months for the next thing to be done, I just couldn’t do it anymore. By the time they’d be able to fill a cavity, there would be 2 more. I called the U of MN School of Dentistry on a Friday and had an appointment for the following Monday. The student I’m assigned to I’m guessing must be one of the top in his class because he’s better than almost every dentist I’ve ever been to. He’s been able to get me in up to 3x’s/week and my teeth are finally getting taken care of. I’m so happy I chose to switch to the UofMN for my dental care. I’m finally getting my smile back. Highly recommend.
