Today's Dental

By far the worst experience I have had in a dentist office, when to the for tooth pain and they said that I had 9 cavities! They scheduled me to have them fixed and when I went in for the first 2 they injected me twice with what should've been Novocain, but it didn't kick in for 4 hours, they started drilling even after I told them I could feel everything. I then went to a different office and they showed me my x-rays and showed that I only had 3. Today's Dental is taking advantage of people on medical assistance and performing unnecessary operations. Very unprofessional.

My daughter had appt, was seen for five minutes and she was ushered out. I bet insurance was charged 30-60 minutes even though she wasn't seen that long. Did not do any fillings. Could have done at least one instead of telling her appt was done. When she left she asked receptionist about cleaning and fillings, was hold we don't do cleanings anymore and another appt needed for fillings. Can't do any fillings in 5 minutes. This place is terrible. State needs to force any licensed dentist in Minnesota to take their insurance or not be able to practice in the state. If so such dentists would not get away with such unacceptable service. And as I stated probably charging half an hour to an hour for five to ten minutes of service. Congressmen, Governor, Mayor, do something other than golfing with such people who do wrong to others.

Wasn't Happy with the Denist, NO introduce him self came in open ur mouth!wow ,no hello why u are here,I had more from the asst.and the office was not clean, Wasn't happy at ALL.i ask the dentist may I speak and tell u why am here, no etiquette at all from the dentist a Somalian doctor was okay language wasn't clear but it doesn't stop you from being professional.

Loved it great folks . My wife and I were treated with the utmost respect. Very fast and pain free.

Like other reviewers, reading the negative comments came as a shock & I’m saddened by the lies. It’s true that parking is tight, but there’s always been a spot for me. However, for the following, please read this coming from an honest person, who has had an extreme assault happen in childhood at a dentists office; there’s literally no one more off put by a dentist than me. I still shake and feel like crying but I actually look forward to my visits with them & further, I’ve scheduled my children and I cannot wait for them to see how amazing Dr. Nwokocha (No-kocha) is. He, and his staff are kind and gentle and understanding as they explain everything to you. For the numbing portion they use a gel, before the needle so you don’t feel a thing. They are a busy office, but never once have I felt rushed, unattended to, or uncared for as an individual person. My standards for professionalism, communication, and individual treatment are as high as my dental anxiety; but believe me when I say that Today’s Dental in St. Cloud is the best dentist & dental experience that I have ever had in my life… better yet, go see for yourself. (I’ve had cleaning, fillings, a tooth extraction, and I’m scheduled for a root canal soon)

I'm sad to see almost nothing but awful reviews lately, because I just got back from a cleaning and it was one of the most pleasant experiences I have ever had at a dentist. One thing that's important to know is that this is the only dentist in town that takes state insurance - because of that, not everything will be covered by insurance, so it's important to call your provider before hand or get an estimate before hand to know what's covered and what isn't. As unfortunate as that is, that is the way medical assistance insurance is and it is not the fault of the dental practice. In addition, because they are the only one, they are always busy, and because of that you will need to be willing to wait for a while so just bring a book or something to do :) Because they are busy, some things are bound to happen.

My hygienist was wonderful and incredibly kind and was very gentle on my teeth!

First appointment went fast and easy. Only a 5 min wait and the staff seemed very helpful

I was desperately searching for a dentist that could get me in asap due to having extreme mouth pain for months. I got in there, did xrays and a consult, come to find out the source of all of my pain was from a rotting wisdom tooth!! They numbed me up and had an extraction done within minutes. I'll recommend this place over and over. Thank you for saving me from my pain!

I would 100% not recommend this place. The staff are rude as can be. The whole time was unpleasant. I had to have 3 cavities filled, they gave me 3 shots of novocain and had me sitting in the room for 30 minutes. There’s no doors, there’s only walls that separate each room so you can hear everything and everyone around you. My face was numb/swollen for 4 days after getting my fillings. the right side of my face where I had the feelings is still in pain, and very tender. It’s hard to open my mouth, harder to speak, hard to eat, it hurts to laugh, I’m afraid I got an infection maybe from unclean utensils. They told me to wait until the following Monday (it was Thursday) to call if I’m still having issues and I’m so scared to go back. If I could go to any other dentist I would. As they were filling my cavities, they started to get irritated with me because I couldn’t open my mouth further, let me remind you I was really numb. They kept telling me to open my mouth but it was putting a lot of strain on my jaw. Please if you can go anywhere but here, make that happen. This place is an absolute joke. I also was told the day of my appointment that I have an infection in my front tooth and will need to come back the next day for a root canal. I come back the next day and they did my fillings- I asked the assistant if I was still getting the root canal and she said no- the girl you had yesterday wasn’t authorized to give you that diagnosis. So they scheduled me two months from now for a root canal. TWO MONTHS. SCREW THIS PLACE. Unprofessional, and they seem to not even know what they’re doing!!!

I tell you this man wrenched so hard to pull 3 of my teeth out. Worst technique, bloody shards of teeth hit and stained my white sweatshirt. I dread going back. Guard your children. This dentist is complete animal.
