Vadnais Heights Family Dentistry

I hadn’t gone to the dentist in awhile because well, like most, people I hated going. But after one of my friends had gone there because of someone we know that works there, I figured I should probably go back to the dentist. I had my usual cleaning for the first appointment (which was done by Jay and I absolutely love him in and out of the office). I then had Dr. Andrea come in and tell me what our dental plan was going to be. I just went in and had a major cavity filled. Both Dr. Andrea and Jay knew how nervous I was because I hate the feeling of needles in my mouth. Jay and I know each other outside of work and he was at work that day and made sure I knew he was there and that I was in great hands. Jay held my hand while Dr. Andrea numbed me up and gave me words of encouragement during the whole thing. Having a dentist’s office that is so kind, welcoming, family oriented, and trustworthy makes the whole experience worth it. I will continue to take my business here and recommend others to come here.

Unfortunately, I have had my share of dental work, but the staff at VHFD make the dentist- dare I say- FUN?! They are kind and inviting. Everything is explained in full detail and I feel a great sense of trust. They are honest and have been able to help me out in a pinch to quickly relieve any and all pain. Patients are treated like family. It’s truly amazing the work they do here. I have recommended and continue to recommend all of my friends and family to this office.

Dr. Andrea is the best! He always gets me in in a timely fashion and in emergency situations. He is so personable and an excellent dentist! I highly recommend him!

Lack of professionalism and very poor care and service- After being told that an old filling should be replaced by VHFD staff each time I went in for a check-up and cleaning over the last few years, I finally succumbed to having it replaced although it didn't bother me in the least. Since then the tooth has been causing me great pain. When I first called to ask to see a dentist, the receptionist actually accused me of doing something that caused damage to the tooth! Then, after a different dentist there tried to correct the issue casued by the original dentist, she said that is may take "months" to finally be pain-free. After continuing to experience great pain I called once again, went in and the dentist found that there was more she could do to try to correct the issue caused by the original dentist. Unfortunately, I'm still in pain and they've sent me a letter to tell me that they no longer want me as a patient. I planned never to see them again once they corrected their mistake, and they should feel the same. Own up to your mistakes and correct them! I had no pain or problems with my teeth before allowing VHFD to replace a filling, now I'm in constant pain!

Hands down the best dentist office I have EVER been to! It has a wonderful family feel where the staff actually gets to know you as a person, and not just as a patient. Johanna is simply amazing and so funny! Honestly, you cannot go wrong with ANY staff member there!

The BEST dental office in the Twin cities. The staff show a passion for helping patients and they go above and beyond with their care. Even though I moved out of state, I still come to them for all my dental needs, because I know I am in good hands.

Dr. Andrea and Eliason are great dentists who are knowledgeable, gentle and kind. They both do excellent work and take the time to make you feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is nervous about going to the dentist as they put your mind at ease and do exceptional work.

Dr. JAMES’ ANDREA warm personality and his skilled personnel complement anything and everything what patient wish to see at the dental office.

I love working here! I have worked at a few dental offices, but here I have the best time with my coworkers. They all care so much for their patients. I love hearing about our patients lives and meeting their whole family. I get my teeth cleaned here and have had each of the hygienists. They are all friendly and thorough.

My husband hadn't been to the dentist in 10 years. He was so impressed with the time and detail that Johanna gave him, making his time in the dental chair not rushed or impersonal at all. He came home saying this was the best office with the kindest people ever! I couldn't agree more!
