Our family LOVES Dr. Peterson and her staff at Granite City Dentistry! We’ve been with her for almost 11 years and we couldn’t be more pleased. Here’s why- excellent care! From the minute you walk in the door and beyond, Dr. Peterson and her staff care about the whole patient. Our children enjoy their dental visits and look forward to going to the dentist. Even when we’ve had some unfortunate dental emergencies, Dr. Peterson has consulted over the phone after hours and worked to get us in. She truly cares for her patients and loves the work she does. She’s even inspired my daughter to be a dentist! Patients for life!

As usual, Dr. Peterson saved the day! I had an emergency crown issue at a parade and called Kari Peterson. She squeezed me in, took time to discuss solutions, and helped with a temporary fix so I could attend a memorial service. This isn't the first time she has helped in an emergency. Kari has returned phone calls promptly, seen me after hours, and made herself available when I was out of the country! I have been with her since she began, and I don't think you could find a dentist who has the skills, is empathetic, is interested in her patients , and who goes the extra mile to make sure you get the best care. Her staff is also very friendly and professional, and will make you comfortable.
I read 2 rather negative reviews on this sight, and all I can say is they have her mixed up with another Dr. Peterson or are angry at poor insurance coverage. Dr. Peterson is always willing to discuss the options that are available and in her control.
Today she took a peek at my grandson's teeth. She won him over instantly when she showed him pictures of her sons' nerf guns! He was impressed:) He thought she was "cool". She is. She is not only a great dentist, but she's a pretty great person, too. To those under her care she's not only our dentist, she's our friend. If you are looking for a dentist, she's the one!

Dr. Peterson is an excellent dentist and very passionate about her job. I had to have a tooth crowned and she was able to do it in one visit using the Cerec crown machine. She made it in the office and the fit of the crown is fantastic! Thank you for helping me out, it is very much appreciated.

I just moved into the area and hadn't been to the dentist in roughly 4 years. I had a great experience from the moment I walked in the door . I walked out of the office feeling better about the health of my teeth, and educated about things that need to be done to preserve and prevent future issues . 5 stars. this doesnt compare to corporate dentistry. they actually care.
