I recently broke a tooth on the lower and it would have been catastrophic had Wayzata Dental not had digital files of my whole mouth. They were able to recreate an exact replica of my natural tooth from their records and have the template ahead of me arriving. I am shocked at how amazing and efficient this experience has been.

I just recently was in to Wayzata Dental. My experience was amazing I have had the drill before without any sedation. i was really surprised when there was pain. I will be going back to finish my other work. It was a pleasant experience all around.

Online scheduling was extremely easy but the 5 star reviews are so misleading (you get a free flouride treatment if you leave a review). The office is old and the dentist is currently doing all cleanings, rather than a hygienist. Where a hygienist would normally spend a great deal of time on my teeth, I felt the dentist rushed through the cleaning. Additionally, besides a temperature check, I did not feel any other COVID precautions were taken. Very disappointed.

I think I just found my new permanent dental care home. I've been to many different offices in the area (since I'm a veteran and they don't offer dental care) I find myself shopping for the best deal. I happened to take advantage of a groupon Dr. McDowell was offering for an exam/cleaning/whitening. I called and was able to get in the same day due to a cancellation. Danielle was my hygienist. She was very personable, informative and you can tell she loves her job. They even have digital x-rays so none of those pointing hard plastic things they used use. Plus no waiting for results cause it's instant. She did a great job on the whitening, they used Opalescence Boost which is the best on the market. Dr. Mcdowell was passionate and cared about the future health of my teeth. He made some informative recommendations. I already scheduled my next checkup/cleaning. Thanks!

I will start by saying my faith in the medical community over the last several years has diminished significantly. The main reason for this is that none of them really seem to care or have the time to actually listen and create a plan with me.
Dr. McDowell was the first Doc to buck this trend in a long time. He didn’t have time to address everything in my first appointment so he actually asked me to come back, at no additional cost. During that second consultation, Dr. McDowell spent easily a half hour helping me understand why my teeth are the way they are and multiple options to help. He was able to give me all the information I needed, including a recommendation, in order to make an informed decision on treatment moving forward.
If you actually like to understand the “why” vs. just taking the Dentist’s word for it...I would highly recommend Dr. McDowell At Wayzata Dental.

I had tried other dentists and, 15 years ago, was referred to Dr McDowell. Quite simply, he is an amazing doctor. His work only need be done one time because it Lasts -- there is never a return visit for the same item. Moreover, he is smart, and knows the cost-effective, best way to solve a problem, and he does. We are extremely pleased with all treatment that comes from Wayzata Dental.

Was just there today for some pain from wisdom tooth pain. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, and I got the answers I needed for next steps in care. They gave me some antibacterial mouthwash to help with pain and offered to contact the oral surgeons for me for an appointment. I'm not scared of going to the dentist anymore 😄👏

I had a dental emergency. My front tooth crown broke, what an embarrassment! I went to see Dr. McDowell and he gave me the best service, he saved the tooth and put on a beautiful new crown and made me smile again. While visiting his office, I had a back ache so was given a pillow to make me more comfortable. At the end of the visit I was offered a warm wet towel to refresh my hand and face, what a nice touch! I highly recommend Dr. McDowell for his great work, latest technology and his wonderful staff!
