Absolutely LOVE the staff and the service at Beach View! I've had extensive dental work over the past few years from many dentists, and this office is the best I've been to by far. The facility is beautiful and very modern (they even have TVs with hulu, Netflix and pandora you can watch while being treated!), and it is kept impeccably clean. Dr. Blackman is great, she cares about her patients comfort and care, and really goes the extra mile to keep you informed about your treatment. If you need a cleaning, Mary is the one to ask for! She is always bright and cheery, she remembers little details about you, and takes the time to get to know you. Even the receptionists are fantastic. I can't say enough positive things about this office. They have helped me get over my fear of the dentist, which makes keeping up with my dental care so much easier! Wonderful place and even better people!

The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. Mary, the hygienist, is the absolute greatest. She is thorough yet gentle. She is very knowledgeable when educating me with my oral health. I would highly recommend this place and especially Mary for your cleanings!

Dishonest is the first word I'd start with. After a 2 hour dental cleaning. The receptionist handed me the bill. When I called to make the appointment I asked if they took both my insurances. The receptionist said yes. After the appointment it had changed "oh we are associated with your insurance" which means no we had lied to you. They did not take my insurance and continue to explain how the gave me an discount to what ever insurance company they did take would pay. They actually acted like I should be grateful for their dishonest bait and switch. I tried to explain if they would have not lied and did take my insurance. It would have covered everything as that I have never paid for a cleaning. The response I received was that I didn't understand.. Oh I understand I asked beach view dental if they took my insurance they said yes knowing they did not. Dishonest bait and switch tactics. I'll be checking my credit card for future made up fraudulent charges as I expect unscrupulous business practices.
Update
As I suspected 3 months later a bill. After completely paying before I left. Here comes a bill with charges the insurance company didnt pay. The insurance you didnt accept? So your business practice is to charge up front; then charge the insurance. In a attempt to double charge. I believe that is fraud. Then if that's not enough send a bill out months. To see if you can get more money. No I dont need to be educated on insurance. I've been to many dentist across this country with the same insurances. NEVER have I had a problem. Till I came to this corrupt place. The worse thing about your corrupt practices is you blame the patient. If you would have just been honest up front a said "no we do not accept your insurance".

I was referred, I'm from out of town and had a problem with a tooth, they got me in immediately, treated me well, very polite, friendly and concerned. I thought it very thoughtful of the dentist to call me later that evening to see how I was doing. I would recommend anyone to this dental office and I've had bad experiences in the past so I'm very critical and hesitant to visit a dentist. These people are wonderful.
