Let me give you details about my experience.
The staff is extremely friendly. Everybody is professional. The furniture is plush and I have little doubt of the competence of the dentists. My problem was with the way my billing was handled.
I am a low-income employee at a public institution. My dental coverage is depressingly weak. My total charges for an examination, root canal and crown came to around $2100. I found out by word of mouth and internet research that I had made a terrible choice given my income situation, but I was in exquisite pain and needed help quickly.
The part that I am very upset about is that I was not informed until after my crown was placed inside my mouth that my insurance would not cover the crown. This is extremely frustrating to me. I do distantly remember being told by my HR person that the dental care had a time wait for major dental issues, but I did not remember the details and I was at no point during my payment process told about the failure of my dental insurance.
I am now in debt. My advice would be to not make the same mistake I did, which I'm not even sure exactly what it was; I suppose I was not sufficiently aware of my own plan's coverage. Please be certain about your plan before you visit this dental group if you are on a tight budget.
