Ballwin Dentist - Angelina Anisimova, DDS

Dr Anisimova and her team provides the ultimate dental experience. From the atmosphere to the excellent service and treatment, they are a team that keeps me on top of my dental care. I actually will call in to get an appointment when I have had to miss for personal reasons. I totally trust any recommendations maintenance she suggest because she has gotten my teeth 🦷 and oral hygiene in order. To top off the dental experience, she provides hot and cold refreshments and snacks while you wait. This may be a great marketing plan to keep you coming back to clean your teeth. Lol 😂. Overall she gets the highest rating I can give and I definitely would suggest you try them out if you are looking for a great family dentist. My name is Eric and I approve this message.

It’s always pleasant visiting Dr Anisimovo’s practice. Everyone seems happy and knows what they are doing. Very professional - they let one know 1) what they are doing while you are on in their chair, 2) what the patient needs to do at home, 3) what products they need to purchase to care for their teeth, and 4) are not “pushy” about any additional procedures needed.

In short, it is a shame that they were not around years ago or my teeth would be in better shape and I would not be so anxious about going to the dentist.

My appointments are always on time. The staff is very good about scheduling and we never have to wait to be seen. Dentist and hygienist do great work and are very professional.

Front office always takes care of insurance and billing,

The staff is very genuine and caring. I needed an emergency appointment and they got me in within an hour to examine my teeth. They were also able to find an oral surgeon that accepted my insurance and could get me in today too. Im forever grateful for everyones help. Thank you so much!

In order to understand my rating, its important to note my "dental journey".

I grew up in an incredibly poor household. Between ages 0-20, I can count on one hand how many times I visited the dentist. It just didn't happen given the challenges of my household.

It wasn't until my late 20s where I went to the dentist again. I didnt have the best experience - other dentist offices lacked transparency on cost and didnt make any attempt to understand me as a patient. After 18 months of that, I kind of gave up.

Then, one day, I felt compelled to get on track. I had a child and I did everything I could to make sure their dental hygiene and routine was everything I never had. I was successful there, but my child asked me one day, "Dad, how come I never see you go to the dentist". It was an honest and fair question that I couldn't provide a rebuttal for.

So I researched positive feedback from people in the Saint Louis area. I especially looked for feedback commenting on the establishments' patient-care.

Dr. Anisimova's practice hit my key points - personable, up front, honest, and an inviting environment.

So I took a leap of faith, contacted the office, and was immediately impressed with the team's interest in me, the person. Good questions, open-ended dialogue, and inviting tone.

I scheduled an appointment and, to my luck, was able to be seen quickly because of their willingness to work with my schedule. I'm a single dad. I work for a Fortune 100 company - flexibility was offered time and again on behalf of the good doctor's team.

Proof is in the pudding though, right? I'm incredibly insecure with my smile because of the lack of care in my childhood. The doctor examined me and she told me something I'd never heard another dentist say - she reassured me i had a wonderful smile and that with just some upkeep, I'd find what she already saw. What a confidence boost!

From there, its all just the same. The receptionists are all so personable. They know my name, they inquire about me and my family. Its amazing.

The hygienists ask good probing questions to understand HOW I maintain at home, and then they make recommendations, without a judgmental tone, on how I could tweak my approach to brushing and flossing to maximize my time.

Doctor Anisimova herself is such a breath of fresh air - she talks to me, never at me. She asks questions. When I'm in the chair, she is always making sure that I'm comfortable with the work she is doing before, during, and after.

This is the kind of practice that everyone wants, but probably doesn't know is even possible. I surely didn't.

The women in this office are amazing. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, you just feel good about the visit. This is the first and only place I've been where I dont dread the visit.

Dr. Anisimova and her team have changed my perception on dental hygiene, my confidence in my self, and continually make every visit an absolute pleasure.

I was taken into the room for my cleaning on time and the hygienist did a very good job. I would recommend Dr. Anisimova's office to anyone who is looking for a new and very good dental experience.

The customer service was great and I’ve been very pleased with the results from all the dental procedures and services I’ve had in Dr. Angelina’s office. Their schedule and quickness booking appointments make their services very accesible.

Wonder dentist to go to both for children and adults. I love going here itd professional, they take their time explain their findings and what needs to be done in a step by step manner so that your well informed. Follow your treatment plan and maintain your teeth and you won't have issues. Night and day difference from the last dentist I tried going to on Vance Rd.
