Cure Dental of Cape Girardeau

Okay, embarrassing/humbling moment here. I have always taken next to zero care of my oral health other than going to the dentist when my mom made me for my entire life, all 32 years. That, coupled with smoking/vaping for over a decade and poor genetics, left me with a smile that I have been so ashamed of for the last 4 years or so. I finally made my way to the dentist this year and had a HORRIBLE experience. On a friend’s recommendation, I decided to go get a second opinion at Cure on how I can eliminate my pain and fix my smile back to where it used to be (picture perfect). Man, am I so glad I did! Dr. Shipley and his staff at Cure Dental are AMAZING! Today will be my 3rd visit in 2 weeks and I have NEVER felt more comfortable at a dentist, even at my pediatric dentist. He has done an extraction (the only way to fix damage from the other office I went to), provided me with a wonderful care box to take home, personally called me the day after my extraction to check on me, performed an exam, created a game plan with the intent of saving as many teeth as we can while restoring a beautiful smile for my wedding (my #1 goal), and is beginning as quickly as tonight! They are so welcoming and friendly that I felt immediately at ease when I walked through the doors! I cannot sing praises loud enough to express how I feel about going to the dentist again and get back to being me, all because of Dr. Shipley and his crew! Thank you!

Wonderful experience at Cure Dental! Clean and modern office with friendly staff. Tia the hygienist was great and explained everything as she was doing it (because no one likes to be surprised with sharp objects in your mouth). Can't hurt that I got to watch whatever I wanted while getting my teeth cleaned (they give you the remote with access to all the streaming platforms). She did a great job cleaning my teeth and getting all that plaque that most usually miss. Can honestly say I don't remember the last time my teeth felt that clean. Dr. Shipley was personable and explained everything going on with my teeth and multiple options going forward. I highly recommend you try them out for your next dental appointment. I will definitely be back!

This is the best dental clinic ive been to in years!!!! My two year old is scared to death of everyone and they made her feel so comfortable!! Definitely feels like a family atmosphere filled with people who love their jobs!!

Fantastic experience during my initial new patient visit. Everyone from the receptionist to Dr. Shipley was fantastic. My dental hygienist was top notch! I have plans to get the whole family switched to this office. Highly recommend!!!

I have been in pain and fighting an infection for months. I was able to get in and have a simple procedure to remove it same say, same hour even!
Dr. Shipley had amazing bedside manner and I loved his assistant (Brittany?!) I have huge dental anxiety so I've put off going. Now, I know no matter what comes up, I don't have to be afraid to go anymore. Also a huge plus that they take my insurance!

Pss: cutest dental office possibly ever - I want to come back just to hit up the juiceboxes and snack bar! It never felt cold and clinical. For someone with a lot of anxiety going, I feel the atmosphere helps too!

Really awesome and way different (In the best way) from other dental practices. The accommodations are great and the staff is better. Convenient location, chill waiting area, and they've got tvs in all the rooms so you can see your x-rays or watch apple tv with provided bluetooth headphones. Definitely worth checking out.

Easily the best dental experience I've ever had! I was able to book my appointment AND fill out all my paperwork online. Tia, the dental hygienist, was super nice and made me feel comfortable. She explained everything that she was doing and why. She also showed me how to brush and floss to address my dental concerns -- the first time I've ever had anyone do that at a dentist's office. They even have a TV on the ceiling so you can catch up on Netflix while you get your teeth cleaned!

Our dentist had just retired and I was looking for a dentist that would be just as great as him. After I heard about Cure Dental, I knew this was the right fit for my family and I. I am NOT a fan of the dentist. I’ve had some bad experiences as a child. I can 100% say that my experience at Cure Dental was THE BEST I’ve EVER had by far! The entire staff was phenomenal! Tia, my hygienist, did an amazing job with my dental cleaning. I have sensitivity from some recession at my gum line and typically cleanings can be a little uncomfortable because of this. She took note of this before I even told her! I did not experience any discomfort during my cleaning! This is huge to me! Next, let me tell you about all of the flavors for polishing your teeth!!! So many flavors to pick from. I picked chocolate mint and it was yummy! Typically I’ve only had the choice of mint, bubble gum, or grape. So to have options was a bonus. 😊 Dr. Shipley was also amazing! He came in, welcomed me to his clinic, and asked if I had any concerns. I’ve never had a dentist that has done this!! It’s very apparent that he really cares for his patients. He was so kind and thanked me for picking Cure Dental. Did I mention you can watch your favorite show during your appointment?! That was such an incredible idea and much appreciated! It really took my mind off the cleaning and helped me relax. They give you headphones(with disposable covers for each patient) so you can hear your show with no problem. They have refreshments in the office for you to enjoy as well. Again, it’s very apparent patient care is 100% their top priority! I would highly recommend Dr. Shipley and his staff from Cure Dental!

Dr. Shipley and his staff were wonderful with our children ages 7, 8, and 10! They made them feel very comfortable and relaxed. Their office is very welcoming and my kids are excited to go back for their checkups.
