Shouman & Tegerdine Family Dentistry

I have been a patient of Shouman Family Dentistry for several years. During this time I have been consistently treated in a thoughtful, efficient and professional manner. And, I have had no problem recommending this group to family and friends.

I've been visiting Dr. Shouman for a couple of years now and I've never had a bad experience. Flexible scheduling, a no-nonsense approach, and a very personable staff make every visit quick and easy.

Unlike some other Dentists I've visited neither him nor the hygienists in the office try to talk you into more expensive work or cleanings you don't really need.

I would recommend him to anyone.

Was in significant pain and this office was able to get me in for an exam and procedure in a very timely manner. The night of my procedure Dr. Shouman called to check in on me afterward to see how I was doing. That’s next level right there. I highly recommend this office.

I cannot say enough about our awesome experience with this office. Myself, my husband, and our sons, 21 and 16 all visited these dentists for the first time this week. All the staff made us feel welcome and relaxed. They were personable and took an interest in us as people, not just patients. While completing our cleanings, xrays and check ups they took time to explain what they were doing and to answer all our questions. My youngest son had been seeing another dentist his whole life and never mentioned any concerns. Upon viewing his xrays, Dr. Shouman immediately noticed an area of concern and sent his xrays to a periodontist for review. Who knows how long this issue has been occurring and the other dentist failed to notice it, take any action, or even notify us of a problem? We plan to be patients at this office for the foreseeable future and we highly recommend them if you are looking for a new dentist.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Shouman. His dental assistant was absolutely incredible as well, very informative and very friendly. They spent time explaining things to me. I would highly recommend them!!

We have been going to Dr Shouman for the last three years and have an excellent service each visit. Dr Tegerdine has also been a nice addition to the office. He and their staff were great with my three year old son at his very first dental visit and my son left all smiles.

I have spent many hours in the dentist's chair over the past 65 years and things have progressed from a feared experience to an enjoyable one. Visiting the Shouman practice is pleasant, informative and relaxing ... I wish my early years had been this refined!

I remember the days when going to the dentist office was about as welcome as, well, a root canal. 😳 That was before I discovered Dr. Tegerdine and Jennifer, a local dentist and technician whose professionalism and skills are top notch. I trust both implicitly, and have been rewarded with some amazing results. Thanks to both Dr. T and Jennifer, I can truly say my teeth have never looked better!
As a bonus, both have the warmth and superb people skills that help this old dental scaredy cat relax. I now look forward to going to the dentist and wonder why I didn’t always?!
