They have rotated dentists out like hotcakes since Dr. Jacoby left and the new dentists have not been very personable. I've had 2 there now that are just downright rude. I don't recommend this place for the dentists themselves. However, the hygienists and other staff are wonderful. Thinking of using them only for cleanings and another dentist for visits. Please note that I'm not a fan of the dentist at all and if you are rude to me as my dentist, I'm done. Dr. Jacoby was the best I had ever been to.

They have always done a remarkable job. I routely see Brandy for cleanings and she is awesome! I was very nervous when first coming to them, from bad childhood dentist experiences. They have done wonders and always are very kind and so easy to work with. Would highly recommend them.

The absolute worst dentist I have *ever* (seriously) been to. Got a couple fillings and the filling was left rough. When I asked about it the response was "it'll get polished with brushing."
The billing staff is also incompetent. This is the first dentist ever when the "expected" charges that you pay at time of service didn't but it. Instead I was gifted with a bill for a few hundred bucks.
Seriously, avoid them like the plague, Joplin luckily has several awesome Dentists. You don't need to suffer through this dentist! I've been going to Joplin Dental Care recently...night and day difference. Choose another dentist, you deserve better than what you'll get here. A "great music selection" is hardly a reason to suffer through the service you get where it actually matters.

Pro: The Crew at My Dentist is by far the best I have ever met from careing, honest, specific, quick, knowledgeable and I can't leave out fun!

Office ADMINISTRATORS and TEXT reminders have been tons of help throughout the few visits I've had this year.
Con: Hard to come up with something although I would suggest some Scheduled weekends would be great here.
Waited to really give an honest review about this Dentistry and HERE it is.. I hope those of you who are looking through the reviews give MY DENTIST a chance to be yours as well.

From the first time you enter the building, it just seems pleasant and clean. The staff at the front desk are always smiling and professional. They usually have 3 or more girls there to help you immediately and they don't shut a piece of glass in your face when they're done talking to you! Emily has been my hygienist for several years now and always calls me by my name, which I really appreciate. She is very professional but can also make you feel relaxed and still provide excellent service. The new Doctor shook my hand and explained everything going on with my teeth.
Wouldn't say it was a day at Disney but they all did an amazing job!

The worst experience of my life. The doctor and his staff completely mislead me to think I would have amazing treatment. Nothing could be further from the truth. They broke my tooth and I almost swallowed my crown due to the amateur staff. And has caused me to spend unnecessary money. And has caused me pain and anguish. They lied to me more then once. Would not recommend this dentist.

This place is the fast food of dentistry. It's a chain; it's the place where dentists fresh out of school practice. It is all open, there is no privacy! I heard them giving follow up instructions to the man behind me, and yelling at the woman 2 chairs down from me to hold still. It sounded like they were waterboarding her. I could hear her gasping for air.
I waited for a long time to be seen. I was in extreme pain. The dentist, Dr. Lundy didn't introduce herself, just asked if I knew what was wrong. I told her which tooth hurt and she started tapping on all of them on that side. I was upset because I was in extreme pain, which I had told her. She said that she needed to know which tooth was bad, I told her which one it was. She said that it couldn't be that one, and hit my tooth with a tool. I pulled away and began crying, she said that she couldn't work on me if I was hysterical. I asked her if it was an infection if I needed a course of antibiotics before any procedures. She said yes and wrote me a prescription for that and pain killers and left. Her nurse said that I would need a root canal but the dentist was getting ready to go on vacation and she needed to book me about a month out! I made an appointment and left, then I called later and canceled from the safety of my home.

I'm going through this dentist for dentures. All of my visits have been very good. I would recommend My Dentist for anyone.
