Val was my dental hygentist, and she did the best job I have ever had in my life! I could not even feel the tools on my teeth at all. She is a pro for sure! My teeth get build up on the back and every six months I look forward to a strict cleaning, but now I realize it totally does not have to feel like any tools scraping on your teeth at all with a pro like Val! Thank you!

I recently had a crown done at Nixa Smiles Dentistry and Dr. Kelly Dove is one of the very best dentists I have ever been to! The staff is very friendly and the dental office is very welcoming. Dr. Kelly Dove treats you like a human being instead of a person just in a chair. She does excellent professional work, is gentle, customer friendly, down-to-earth and talks with you about patient care plans/options instead of telling you what is going to be done like other dentists. I highly recommend her if you're looking for a friendly smile at the Dentist's!!
Also if you're Active Duty Military, National Guard or Reserve she is familiar with the military dental examinations (DD Form 2813).

My six-year-old went to smiles for her 1st appointment she was nervous but her hygienist and dentist made her feel completely at ease. By the time we got ready to leave she said she wanted to stay and hang out. My daughter was a premmie and as a result has some dental issues but the dentist was very knowledgeable and had a quick solution about how to fix these issues and treat them in the future. All their tech is up-to-date state-of-the-art and really as minimally invasive as possible. I was super impressed. My husband and I will be switching our dentistry to this clinic.

06.14.2019 My first visit to Nixa Smiles. Everyone was nice and friendly. Laura cleaned my teeth and and informed me of problem areas. Then Dr. Kelly Dove came in and went over what Laura had said with color pictures. Explained my options to me and allowed me to choose what was best for me.
I really like this group of people. I am happy I found Nixa Smiles and plan to stay with them.
PS In my opinion they have great prices.

Awesome service everytime. They genuinely care about you. Bring your kids! My 5 year old had a lot of anxiety but they put him at ease and were able to do his fillings with no pain!

I love Nixa Smiles. It is absolutely the best experience I have had. Such a warm & welcoming atmosphere along with the staff who are just as warm & caring. I would like to give a special shout out to my girl Cynthia THE BEST dental hygienist. She takes very good care of me especially due to my anxiety. I highly recommend them & trust them completely. Nothing but good all around.

UPDATE August 21st:
Today my appointment was not as lovely as my first. The staff were as pleasant and kind as always, but, my appointment today took way longer than it should have. I was there from 12:50-2:16 for a regular checkup...I was called back about 15-20 minutes after I checked in and got my xrays done (which I got done the first visit I had so not sure why I needed another set done.) Then, I sat and waited for around 30 minutes for someone to come back and clean my teeth (after the lady told me she’d be right back). They then poked and prodded around my mouth for another probably 20 minutes and THEN got to cleaning (which took like 5 minutes) and sent me on my way with one big ol bill. I signed up for the yearly plan to save money on my next visit, but, not sure what exactly I needed to pay over $200 for for my visit today (unless checkup prices have just gone up) However, I can’t dock them any stars for cheerful personalities and pleasant attitudes.

I had my first appointment today at Nixa Smiles. The first thing I noticed about this place was the comfortable design of the waiting/reception area. After filling out some paperwork I waited to be called back to the exam room. The staff was very friendly. They were getting acquainted with the new space and I appreciated them letting me know what they were doing every step of the way. Every staff member I passed said hello to me and greeted me with a smile. The experience was comfortable and the atmosphere was inviting.

I have a lot of problems with the dentist and I am beyond amazed with all the staff and Dr Dove! They are very kind, caring, and professional! I drive from KC to go to this office because they are THAT good!

I am the kind of person who is always nervous to go to the dentist. So when I knew I needed two fillings, the only place I trusted and knew would take care of me was Nixa Smiles Dentistry! The staff members are always friendly and pride themselves of putting their patients comfort first. Emily, Dr. Kelly and the ladies up front did a great job making me feel relaxed and at ease with my dental work. I highly recommend this place for dental care from professionals who actually care. They never judge you for how your teeth look. They only want to help you get the smile you deserve!
