I first visited Ascend Dental Design several months ago because Dr. Magers was able to see me quickly for a root canal on a painful tooth. He then put a crown on that tooth a few weeks later, which was a perfect match to my other teeth, and I have had no problems with it. I have since been back for my new patient visit, which was extremely thorough. It took 2 hours, but included photos, x-rays, cleaning, and conversations about my dental history and any concerns with both the hygienist and doctor. I have been very impressed by the professionalism and genuine friendliness of Dr. Magers and everyone in his office.

My parents and I moved to Springfield a couple years ago. Prior to that, I had been going to the same dentist in St. Louis all my life (18 years). Upon coming here, it was clear that neither my parents nor I knew what we had been missing! Ascend found cavities in my teeth that had probably been missed by my old dentist for years. They are much more thorough and transparent in their work and always look "ahead" to prevent future issues. The office staff is friendly and professional and everyone there has a personal connection with their patients. I would highly recommend ascend to anyone in the Ozarks who needs any dental work done!

Sarah was so nice and explained everything in detail to me. I usually hate going to the dentist and they made the experience as calming as possible. They we upfront about what needed to be done and what could be done in the future to make my smile better. They were not pushy about having anything done that day but let me make another appointment at my time to do any recommendations.

I had my first appointment a few weeks ago. I had heard that the staff at Dorman Family Dental went beyond the typical "cleaning/check-up" but my expectations were far surpassed. I felt welcomed and at-ease as soon as I entered the door.
The thing that stood out the most to me was how personable Megan my hygienist and Dr. Magers were. Rather than a quick check by the dentist and a "looks good," or "we'll watch that," Dr. Magers sat down and really got to know me. As a new patient I was asked how I would rate my smile and if there was anything I would change about it. Different options were discussed to help me get my smile to a 10, including things I could do on my end and some different options that are offered at Dorman Family Dental.
Overall I would agree that the staff at Dorman Family Dental go above and beyond- they really do offer a great experience with a passion for dental health.
