Called the office today and they got me in for an emergency appointment. I have no dental insurance and I am TERRIFIED of the dentist. The staff is amazing and Dr. Olivier was so patience with me.
Ended up having to pull the wisdom tooth due to infection. The whole experience was so much better than I am sure it would have been going somewhere else. For those with major dental anxiety I would highly recommend. They will also work with you on payment.
I would give them 10 stars if possible.

He took his time, carefully explained the clinical scenario, and made firm recommendations. Not only knowledgeable, but very personable!
His hygienist, Stephanie, was also impressive- knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Ballas Dental Care!

This was my first visit to Ballas Dental after moving to St. Louis from KY. I am always anxious when finding a new dentist but they came highly recommend and I can see why. My hygienist was very knowledgable and thorough. She explained how their office worked with treatment plans and offered suggestions on ways to improve my oral health. I saw Dr. Olivier and was super impressed. I had a little bit of pain when biting down but it couldn't be found while using the bite stick. I was really happy that she said to try to locate the pain on my own instead of taking drastic measures first (not all dentists would do that!). Overall, I was SUPER impressed with Ballas Dental Care and would recommend them for sure!

Whoever heard of a PLEASANT visit to a dentist??? --- Well I just had one!!! --Just a visit for my semi annual cleaning & check-up. Met with friendly efficient staff at front desk. The Hygienist was thorough and informative with procedure and gave to me information helpful to my continued "Fine" care of teeth & gums. Parting visit with Dentist to make sure all questions were answered , left me confident that I would indeed continue with my normal "Oral Hygiene" regimen, until my next visit.

Ballas Dental truly saved me Thanksgiving Holiday weekend! Woke up the day before Thanksgiving with an incredible pain in my tooth. I called the office and they were able to send a prescription to my local pharmacy for an antibiotic and some pain medication. They also able to get me into their schedule first thing the following Monday. Without Ballas I would not have been able to enjoy the long weekend with my family. Thank you Ballas team!
